The service dept needs a major tune asap. Almost felt like I was in a bait & switch game. This place is a joke! ! Bought my car with 3 miles. Joseph and Aaron did an exceptional job at selling me a "reliable" 2022 elantra. Less than 7 months later and my backup ! Bought my car with 3 miles. Joseph and Aaron did an exceptional job at selling me a "reliable" 2022 elantra. Less than 7 months later and my backup camera is completely broken from the inside. They can't fix it until mid September. I don't mind having to turn my head to see where I'm going but what is a pain is that my whole screen will go black and then you cannot access navigation or any of the Android auto apps. Then see the pictures attached. The dealership has explained they cannot replicate this issue at all after driving the vehicle around and all. Now with that being said, after renting a car and having to go back because the shop closed at 6 and Noone would update me on my cars status. Apparently no one was in the service dept so i had to come get my clothes for work. The guy was just sitting there doing NOTHING! Get this!! I had to go to enterprise to rent a car because even though I was sold the xx hyundai warranty along with every other possible additional warranty. I drive alot for work through new orleans. If you've been, you know about the drivers and pot holes, so it made sense. Now with the warranty, rentals are supposed to be covered. Yet hyundai doesn't offer rentals nor do they have a rental department. So I'm out $200 because my brand new car is in the shop. So lights are still an intermittent issue which each sensor has its own set of audio dings in the car. So if I'm driving the Causeway I get to enjoy approximately 5-10 minutes of dings because the screen will correct itself and then start going off again. Now I'm picking up my car, I also requested my oil be changed. That service is supposed to be included as well. Not only the xx hyundai warranty but also the extended warranty. So all in all they did nothing except let me spend extra money and not do a xxxx thing to my car. This place is a JOKE!!! Don't go to Aaron he will say anything to get you to buy a car. A true car salesman who was also rude with my mother who called because I couldn't get a straight answer and she thought he would be helpful as he was in selling the car. Joseph is just going to put it on gap and then eh he has other sales to do. Or he'll just tell you how it worked with his Daughter's car. All in all... if you're going to get a hyundai, DO NOT GO TO ALL STAR IN BATON ROUGE! This has been embarrassingly ridiculous. More
This is what they say they are; this couldn't be further from the truth. My car has been in their shop since 4/6/22 for an engine replacement. The car is covered in extended warranties and manufacture warranties, so I just don't get it. When I took my car over there, I was told they had six engines in front of me, now it's ten engines. What's that about? Here it is over four months later, and still NOTHING from them. I have called repeatedly; I have stopped by a few times, but still NOTHING. I talked to the service manager herself and was told to give her two weeks, and they should have more information at that time; that was up three weeks ago, and still NOTHING. They just tell you that to get you out of their face or off the phone. This is just unheard of from even the smallest shops. I was told someone would call and email you back, and still NOTHING. So when a dealership tells you and I Quote; "WE KNOW YOUR CAR IS A PRIORITY, AND IT IS OURS TOO! ALL-STAR HYUNDAI OF BATON ROUGE IS DEDICATED TO KEEPING YOUR CAR SAFELY ON THE ROAD IN TOP MECHANICAL CONDITION. OUR TECHNICIANS ARE CERTIFIED WITH DAYS OF HANDS-ON TRAINING AND YEARS OF EXPERIENCE. AS AN AUTHORIZED DEALERSHIP, YOU CAN EXPECT WE HAVE THE PROPER TOOLS TO GET THE JOB DONE RIGHT." You can smell that for yourself. This has hurt my small repair business in so many ways. I would never do this to any of my customers ever. At this point, they should be making the payment on this car. I called them yesterday and was told the mechanic was in a meeting. You can smell that too. At this point, I guess you call channel two and see if they could help to get some real answers. This is a consumer issue and a better business issue. Unforgivable. More
