My Veloster. I have gone over the following with the dealership and have received their apology. When the car was presented to me at the dealership, it wouldn't st I have gone over the following with the dealership and have received their apology. When the car was presented to me at the dealership, it wouldn't start and required a jump start. When I had it in my garage, it again would not start. To the credit of the dealership, they came to our home, picked up the vehicle, returned it to their garage where it was determined that it had a bad battery. Clearly, the vehicle should never have been given to me in that condition. I probably should not have accepted a 2016 vehicle in 2017, but that fault lies with me. BIGGY! No one told me about the occasional problem with the gear lever freezing and the solution: The only reason that I was able to get out of the situation when it occurred is that my wife has a Sonata which has had the same issue. I feel that should be an ABSOLUTE MUST; new customers should most definitely be told about that. After spending some time (unsuccessfully) trying to pair my iPhone with the vehicle while at the dealership so that I could play Pandora music through the audio system, another sales person came up and advised us that Pandora doesn't broadcast in that area. As regards its cleanliness, it had indeed been washed, but the inside of the windshield was not clean. I answered the question about finance protection negatively because we handled that through USAA. The reason that I stated that my expectations were not entirely met is that I had gone to the dealership hoping to purchase a red 6-speed 2017 Veloster but had to settle for a 2016 Vitamin C automatic. I am pleased with the vehicle, but still wonder if I should have waited for the one that I wanted. Please feel free to contact me about any of the foregoing. More
