Carter and Jason were great to work with. They weren't pushy and answered every question I had. It was nice to not feel the pressure when buying a car. Buying a new car has never been a pleasurable experience for me and my husband, that is until our recent purchase of a Honda Civic, from Honda of Abilene. Our Sales Associate was David Custred and because for me and my husband, that is until our recent purchase of a Honda Civic, from Honda of Abilene. Our Sales Associate was David Custred and because of him I can now say that I have had a GREAT experience buying a car. David was very knowledgeable about all the products and had no problem answering my questions, he also was able to tell me all about the safety features and being a mother of three this is very important. I did not feel like we were just his next deal, I felt that he not only heard what we were saying but cared as well. We were the last ones there on the Saturday that we bought our civic and he never once made us feel rushed, he was very thorough with the entire car purchasing process, all the way to the delivery. I was very impressed that he even went and helped clean my new car instead of asking that I come back another day, this has happened to me before, so I was very impressed that he would go to those lengths so that I was not inconvenienced by having to come back another day. When we came to the dealership we had to bring our youngest two children (6 and 4) they were far from able to just sit there and David never once seemed irritated that we had to keep interrupting our conversations to go retrieve them! I could not thank David enough for our experience, and I would not only recommend the dealership as a whole but I would recommend to my family and friends to buy their next car from David Custred, I know that the next time we buy, it will definitely be from him and only him. Carter McBryde is my hero. I had never purchased a car and we moved to Abilene because my husband was experiencing early Alzheimer's [our daughter and family live here]. I researched autos in Consumer Re and we moved to Abilene because my husband was experiencing early Alzheimer's [our daughter and family live here]. I researched autos in Consumer Reports and got a friend to go with us to look at Toyato and Honda sedans. Carter was very kind to my husband, listened to my criteria for purchasing, and he patiently educated me about my options. I appreciate that he recommended having the undercoat to decrease road noise, as well. The whole process was convenient, efficient, seamless. He stressed that he was there for what ever I needed. Later, I decided to get a cargo net for the trunk. The Alzheimer journey has been chaotic and stressful at best. I admitted my husband to a facility in January 2011. Last week I had several errands and deadlines, when I locked my keys in the seat of my car in the Sam's parking lot. I called Carter and he pulled my file and was able to have a temporary key made.
