Saved Our Family Vacation My family and I stopped in Saint Charles for the night on our way from Ft. Wayne, Indiana to Branson, MO on vacation. As we were pulling into the hote My family and I stopped in Saint Charles for the night on our way from Ft. Wayne, Indiana to Branson, MO on vacation. As we were pulling into the hotel, our vehicle started acting up, and it became clear we would need a major repair to continue. It was 5pm on Saturday of Labor Day weekend, so my hopes weren't real high of finding much help until Tuesday the next week. In fact, the service department of the first Dodge dealer I called had closed at 3pm. However, the 2nd place I called was All-Star, who was open until 6. Julie of the service department was very courteous on the phone and said they would do what they could when we got there. After overheating on the way there, it was about 5:45 by the time I could limp in to the dealership. Immediately the manager (who obviously had been informed ahead of time of our situation) and one of the service techs quickly analyzed and diagnosed the issue: the coolant pump needed replaced. They had already arranged for a rental car for us, thinking it wouldn't be until morning before they would have it finished. I was very impressed with both having the rental car arranged, and also the speed of the proposed repair. I was expecting a few days since it was Labor Day weekend. The next morning was a welcome surprise. However, the manager and his service team jumped on our vehicle right away, and soon there were 4-5 people, all after hours at this point, going to town on our '12 Dodge Durango. They had everything diagnosed (correctly I might add!), fixed, cleaned up, and ready to go in about 45 minutes! That's faster than some oil changes I've waited on! It was truly impressive, and I and my family feel extremely blessed to have found All-Star in this tough situation. Thanks guys, your whole team saved our vacation! -Josh S. More

Air bag The air bag light was on when I made the appointment. No one said anything about how much it cost to look at it. When they registered me he said I was over do to have my plugs changed. After they looked at my 2014 Dodge Avenger it was then I was told about the $ 99.00 agnostic fee. Then they tell me the head rest needed to be changed. Since this wasn't a warranty item it will cost me $ 655.00. I said no thank you. The air bag light shut off after one day. I feel that I have been cheated because they never told me about the fee until after. I also think they misdiagnosed the problem. We will never ever purchase a car at All Star again.
