The service technician I dealt with was professional and courteous. However, the overall service approach felt more like a sales trap than genuine car care. I’ve owned several Ford Escapes over the year courteous. However, the overall service approach felt more like a sales trap than genuine car care. I’ve owned several Ford Escapes over the years. I buy them new and trade in every couple of years, largely because of their reputation for low maintenance. This was my first service experience at All American — and with only 33,000 miles on the vehicle, I was shocked to be quoted over $1,000 in recommended service. To add insult to injury, they charge an additional 3% if you pay by credit card. Honestly, it felt like I should have been handed a T-shirt that said “sucker” for agreeing to their recommendations. This kind of upselling seems more about funding the owner’s lifestyle than genuinely supporting customers. It left me seriously questioning how anyone could trust this dealership — not just for service, but for purchasing a vehicle as well. More
