Bait and switch Found a truck on their website with manufacturer, regional, and dealer rebates and incentives totaling $16000. I walked in, asked for the truck by stock number, test drove it, and said I wanted it. The sales rep got the information for my trade in and turned that in to his manager. I sat there for 40 minutes waiting to hear what they were going to offer me for my trade in. When the sales rep, came back, he said the reason it took so long was that there was a mistake on the website and they were correcting it. The truck I wanted was really $37000. If I checked the website now, it would reflect the correct price. Well, later when I checked the website, it showed an even cheaper price ($27000). A few hours later, the truck was off the website altogether (and a quick trip through the lot showed that it had not been sold). At a minimum, this is blatant incompetence, but I suspect fraudulent business practices: luring people in with false advertisements. A classic bait and switch tactic. A manager couldn't be bothered to come out and apologize or try to explain. The sales rep was dumb founded. I don't appreciate my time being wasted. Definitely steer clear of this dealership. More
