Worth the drive! When I found myself unexpectedly needing a car, I spent countless hours online looking at used cars and pulling CarFax after CarFax. It was a scary ordeal thinking of putting thousands of dollars out there and not knowing what I would get. Finally, I came across Alexandria VW and my search was over! I live chatted with a representative after hours, who emailed the manager to see if two cars I was interested in were still available. I needed to know because it was a 3 1/2 hour drive to the dealership and I needed to leave at 6 am the next morning! The manager emailed me late that night, and then again in the morning. While one of the cars I was looking at was sold, there were many great vehicles at amazing prices to choose from. Katherine Carmon, our sales specialist, was an amazing, no pressure, car phenom! Needless to say, I left with TWO cars and got a great deal on an unexpected trade as well! More

Kathrine is what makes this dealership worth visiting After a long day of looking at different cars at different dealerships, I made this my last stop since I needed to trade my old car, which was a VW as After a long day of looking at different cars at different dealerships, I made this my last stop since I needed to trade my old car, which was a VW as well. They were great, a little busy and took a while for them to provide me with quicker service (which is why I rated this a 4 star and not a 5), but Katherine was WONDERFUL/ GREAT to work with even though she had other people to attend to before me. She was VERY professional and saw how frustrated and done I was at looking at cars all day and she was able to calm me down and work with me as best as she could under the busy circumstances to get a great lease deal for me and also trade in my old car. She also took the time to help me take out all the stuff I had in my old car and transfer it to my new car. PLUS, she took the time and helped connect, both of my cell phones, to my new cars Bluetooth. I only want to work with her in the future, since about 6 years ago I did not have a great experience in this dealership (I left crying). Thanks to Katherine, she turned me around and I would love the opportunity to work with her when I have to lease a new car in 3 years again. I'm happy, thanks to HER! More

Horrible experience Very misleading tactics!!! To be more specific I am talking about Emily Joseph, that took her 3 days to finally send me a specific offer, and finally Very misleading tactics!!! To be more specific I am talking about Emily Joseph, that took her 3 days to finally send me a specific offer, and finally today, when I was about to go to the dealership and purchase a new car (after she would have confirmed the price with her manager), she wrote that the terms are changing... Never got a new offer, even after she specified 1pm today as a deadline for a new offer. Well, now it's 9:50 pm, I still haven't received an offer from VW Alexandria. In 4-5 days of negotiating, Ms. Emily Joseph never informed me of any deadline for her offer, on the contrary, at 8:50 pm, 10 min before the offer allegedly expired (information never given to me) she informed me that she will speak with her manager in the morning and see what he can do. The following morning I was informed that the prices expired last night at 9 pm and that new incentives are in place, but that I should expect a new price at either 12 or 1. Fun fact, now it's 11:42 pm and now offer was sent... TO GET TO THE POINT, A 1 STAR IS TOO GENEROUS FOR THIS EXPERIENCE, BUT I WASN'T ABLE TO DO 0... If you are considering VW better go to other dealerships. At least they reply right away and are straight forward More

This was the first vehicle I've bought and John and everyone at the dealership made the process a walk in the park. From the time I walked in, until leaving with my new car was just over an hour. Granted, prior research on the specific vehicle made the in-and-out process much faster. More

Gary help me make my final decision about which car I wanted by stating facts and not pushing to give his opinion or for me to get what he thought was best. He also went over some initial key steps with the car, including connecting my phone to the car before I left. Phenomenal service! Joe the Finance Rep was on top of things; fighting to get the best deal for me. He was friendly and hardworking. You could tell they genuinely enjoy what they do for a living: helping others! The entire experience, which included other staff members who were assisting customers, to those greeting you when you when you come in at the front desk was great!!
