Sami Salami came through in every way last month. I found a used Subaru at Alexandria VW that was what I wanted and it was a much better price than I could get in the Richmond area. He was great in every way- answering all my questions, working out a way they could hold the car a few days until I could come up there, and then when I arrived at the appointed time Sami had the car and all the paperwork ready to go without a hitch. Dishonest, crappy preowned inventory, liars I dealt with a salesman named Fred. Worst salesman I’ve ever dealt with. Was dishonest, didn’t know what he was talking about. Honest and straightforward I initially was apprehensive about going to Alexandria, Volkwagen after hearing reviews from friends and coworkers. Some friends indicating the servic I initially was apprehensive about going to Alexandria, Volkwagen after hearing reviews from friends and coworkers. Some friends indicating the service was terrible and the salespeople were rude. For this reason, I didn't bother making an appointment. After visiting several dealerships in the area, my boyfriend and I decided to swing on over to Alexandria, despite the reviews. We were introduced to Dean Reyes as our salesmen. We test drove a CPO 2016 Tiguan with all the fancy gadgets that I was looking for in a compact SUV (i.e. leather interior, back up camera, blue tooth enabled). When I was ready to start the process of purchasing the vehicle, Dean prefaced the negotiation by explaining that Alexandria VW has a little/no haggle policy around their CPO price (I also observed this with another VW dealer on the Beltway). Given that the price was competitive and within my budget, I didn't want to pass the offer. Throughout the experience, Dean answered all our questions genuinely. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and love my Tiguan! More
