We were expecting to just test drive the Atlas but he was very helpful and we felt comfortable that we weren't be xx'd so we closed the deal and left the dealership within an hour. That is unheard of. If you are looking for a new car I highly recommend reaching out to Sedeke at Alexandria VW. More
I've been here several times for service, but it's really declined, and then I tried a sales experience. Nope, Nada, NO! Like I say, I'd been here a number of times for service, it started getting bad when declined, and then I tried a sales experience. Nope, Nada, NO! Like I say, I'd been here a number of times for service, it started getting bad when, without authorization, they topped off the AdBlu during an oil change, and charing dealer prices. Then there was when I had an engine warning light come on, I relayed the exact terminology from the owner's manual, and they looked at like as if I had two heads. I further explained the circumstances for the engine warning light to the service writer, and later he called me again saying they couldn't find a problem and asked me what the conditions where when the light came on... He hadn't bothered to pay attention. Nor to pass that info on to the service tech. And then the sales experience... Every time I'd set up service I'd get an email solicitation saying my car was in high demand and they'd love the opportunity to buy it or take it on trade. When I finally responded, I had to work to get an appointment. Then they lowballed me, offering me about 55% what another VW dealer in Tysons offered. I won't be returning to Alex VW. Nope, Nada, NO! I had placed an order for the vehicle through VW at the end of August but this one became available and I didn't want to wait 6 months or more for the delivery of my order for the vehicle through VW at the end of August but this one became available and I didn't want to wait 6 months or more for the delivery of my order. The dealership knew I was intent on making the purchase. Daniel (my salesman) was great, Jasmin (the finance manager) was great, the vehicle was great. But the $3,000 "high demand vehicle" surcharge that was added to the MSRP, in my mind, was akin to price gouging. Had the dealership not imposed that surcharge as a condition of sale, this would have been a 5 star rating. Having had some time to reflect on my rating, I have lowered it to 2 stars. The reasons for having done this is that a second condition of sale was that I use their in-house financing; they also didn't honor their TrueCar trade-in commitment. More

I had an 7:30 appointment on Wednesday , Sept 08, 2021 for a 2020 Jetta recall and also to determine why the coolant fluid sign had appeared on my dashboard. That same afternoon, I called to check on the for a 2020 Jetta recall and also to determine why the coolant fluid sign had appeared on my dashboard. That same afternoon, I called to check on the status of the repair and was informed by the adviser that it's not ready and that he will check with the technician/mecanic and will call me right back. Not hearing back from him, I took Uber from my work (in DC) all the way to the dealership to pick up my car, ooops it's was NOT ready, when supposedtly it should take about an hour to fix the recall (software) . I got so frustrated and simply decided to take my car and the xxxx with the recall. I will contact your corporate people and the people that sent the recall letter. More
