Recently brought my tundra in for 80k service and specifically asked if they could please free up the lock on my tailgate. They did not and said they forgot. So as I’m ready to leave the Service pers specifically asked if they could please free up the lock on my tailgate. They did not and said they forgot. So as I’m ready to leave the Service person asked a mechanic to look at it and he sprayed with lube and tried to free up with no success. They told me they would “look into it”. I asked how they’re planning on doing that when I drive away. They said it may need to be replaced. How do they know that if they never exposed the mechanism. This is POOR service. More
