0 stars for them! ! We will never be back. We have bought/leased vehicles for over 30 yrs. We went to see about the equity in the leased vehicle at their call to us t ! We will never be back. We have bought/leased vehicles for over 30 yrs. We went to see about the equity in the leased vehicle at their call to us to come down. The lease was coming due, after they found out no equity, told us just to come back when lease was due, and didn't talk to us any more that day. Then to make matters twice as bad, they never even contacted us when the lease was up!!! We felt after all these years that we were nothing but dirt to them, just another number, no respect what so ever. This was from the salesman as well as the manager Dave Magro. More
I had so many issues with them it’s hard to know where to begin. First of all the trade in process was weird. Only lasted four days and then the price for my car went way down. They expected me to just under begin. First of all the trade in process was weird. Only lasted four days and then the price for my car went way down. They expected me to just understand their supposed “no bargaining” policy but they never gave me evidence of how they were valuing my trade in. After all that I had physical issues with the car I bought regarding a past injured ankle hurting in the car and rather than assist me by buying back the car they refused because they wanted to keep all the incentives. They made 7500 of me in rebates on an electric car I can’t drive. I asked them to return the 5 k rebate to mileage smart so I could still benefit from the program and buy back the car. It was sadly too late to get my own car back from them. They refused. I lost money because I had to trade it in elsewhere. But they are out of integrity selling preowned electric cars jacking up the prices on them so they get incentives and still charge the customer more than the car is worth. Obviously I would never buy a car from them or recommend anyone do. More
The entire team at Aldermans GMC was amazing. Justin Pill was a great. Constant communication and no pressure whatsoever. He sent me pictures when my truck arrived, and worked around my schedule Justin Pill was a great. Constant communication and no pressure whatsoever. He sent me pictures when my truck arrived, and worked around my schedule to come pickup the truck. Isiaih Jackson was also great. He reviewed all of the finance and warranty options without any pressure to purchase. This was a great experiences and I would highly recommend Aldermans to anyone. Steve LeClair - Burrillville RI. HORRIBLE SERVICE - Do not do business with them. I spent days going back and forth with them about a used vehicle (Jeep Gladiator). I'm 3 hours away and setup a time to go see the vehicle. Not once I spent days going back and forth with them about a used vehicle (Jeep Gladiator). I'm 3 hours away and setup a time to go see the vehicle. Not once did they ask me if I'd like to put a deposit on it to hold it. I got all of my ducks in a row to take a 3 hour drive to VT this morning and they called at 7:20am to tell me it was gone. Last night at 6:00 they told me that no one bought it so I was safe to make the trip. How did it sell between 6pm when they were closed and 7:20am? I was supposed to make a trip for work and canceled that to go buy this truck. If they were wiling to take a deposit then why not offer me the same courtesy so I didn't waste days getting everything lined up to buy this truck? HORRIBLE SERVICE. More
Do not do business at Alderman's Chevrolet. They are unethical and will steal your money. My father used Alderman's for years to lease his vehicles, but they repaid him for his loyalty very cruelly. Whe unethical and will steal your money. My father used Alderman's for years to lease his vehicles, but they repaid him for his loyalty very cruelly. When my father was ninety years old, the salesman, Nick, continued to call him every few months to try to entice him into an early lease termination and an upgrade. My father does not get a lot of phone calls, and he succumbed to Nick's suggestion of an improved ride. My sister, who was my father's primary caregiver, got wind of it and asked my dad to wait a day until she would be able to go to the dealership with him. Nick told my father that the deal could not wait and he needed to come in that day to sign it. My father leased a new Buick with bells-and-whistles that he could not learn to use. In addition, his primary caregiver could not drive the car because the trunk space was inadequate for her walker. The salesman did not suggest a co-lessee, even though my father was clearly near the end of his life. My father, Phil Pope, was an educated and respected man, but everyone loses some of their cognitive ability at the age of ninety. Shame on you, Alderman's, for taking advantage of him! After one year of a three-year lease we had to take the keys away from my father due to dementia. No one else could use the car, because there was no co-lessee, and Dad's primary caregiver could not fit her walker in the trunk. She could not even use the car to drive him around! After eighteen months of a three-year lease my father passed away. That was seventeen months ago. At first I tried to return the car in return for a prorated amount of the prepaid lease. Chevrolet told me that we were welcome to return the car, but we would not get any money back. A family member has been using the car, since it is prepaid and there is no refund. The shenanigans are not over! Now we would like to exercise our option to purchase the vehicle at lease end. We have been on the phone with Alderman's constantly for the last month trying to make this happen. We were told that a beneficiary of my father's estate would be able to buy out the lease. However, we are constantly told, "I will get back to you next week with the details." The men in the finance department are very courteous on the phone; in fact I will not name names, because I think the problem is corporate, not the fault of these local personnel. To summarize, please do NOT do business with Alderman's Chevrolet in Rutland. They unethically talked an old man into a three-year prepaid lease with no co-lessee. Then, when the estate tried to buy out the lease, they were obstructionist at every turn. More
