Our family-owned and operated dealership looks forward to giving the Indy area the same quality of service that the 2 generations of Alderman's before us provided.
Jerry Alderman, our grandfather, ventured into this business in 1953 and established Alderman Ford. He was dedicated to running the dealership differently than his competitors by creating & maintaining relationships with customers and providing products they could stand behind. One of the biggest things that set Alderman apart from everyone else in the industry was the meaning of their handshake. If offered a handshake, rest assured you were shaking the hand of someone with integrity.
Our father, Gary, took over the dealership in 1967 and continued to run the dealership the "Alderman Way" by embracing those same fundamentals until he retired in 2005.
Fast forward 12 years and Alderman Automotive opened its doors. We successfully continue to base our name and company on the same principles that the two generations before us did. We are honored to be "back in the business" and continue to share the Alderman name with our community, both near and far.

This was the first time purchasing a vehicle at a dealership and to be honest, I was expecting it to take all day and to have a poor experience. It was the complete opposite!!! Brought my car in for service. Besides somewhat of an attitude they failed to actually fix the problem that I reported and offered me a $4000 dollar repair bill. Some of which I had discovered after purchasing the vehicle that were not addressed during your inspection process. Turns out a twenty dollar part was the issue that I had reported but they didn't want to fix. A loose brake line at the caliper causing a leak on a repair done prior to my purchase and missed by Alderman. So in conclusion while happy with the sales side I won't be bringing my vehicle back for service and will probably not return or recommend anyone. More

Transmission replacement was done correctly, efficiently, and quickly. Service was outstanding, and at a reasonable cost (I was quoted by a number of shops). Made an appointment in advance for an oil change and brake inspection, they had my car for 9 hours and as soon as I drove off the lot a “brake pad” light came on and it cost me $300.
