They were able to work me in on short notice for an oil change. They greeted me by name and were so personable. They explained to me the services done and kept me informed on anything I needed to monitor with my vehicle. They are the only people I would trust working on my vehicle. More

Awkword and disorganized I contacted Al West because I was searching for a specific vehicle they had. My criteria was quite specific (color, certain drive drain, trim, etc.). I contacted Al West because I was searching for a specific vehicle they had. My criteria was quite specific (color, certain drive drain, trim, etc.). I used the online chat / tool to verify if they still had this vehicle for sale. I did not hear back from anyone. I decided to call 2 days later and was told the vehicle was still available. I asked if they had a way to hold a vehicle and the person on the phone said yes, but he would have to check with the manager. He called me back later that afternoon and told me I could hold the vehicle for 48 hours with a $500 deposit. I live out of state from this dealership and told the guy on the phone that I'd have to call back later in the week to make a deposit. He did warn me that someone else was going to look at the vehicle. I said that was fine and if the vehicle is still available then I'll make the deposit. I called a few days later and got a hold of a sales associate (a new one). He told me the vehicle was still available but they had someone looking at the vehicle that afternoon. I told him to call me if its still available and I'll make a deposit. He said he would call me back and he did later that afternoon. When he called me back, he said I didn't need to make a deposit and said I was the next person to view the vehicle. I didn't understand why the change but I was OK with not putting a deposit on the vehicle. I drove 6 hours to come and see the vehicle in person and when I got there, I was sure disappointed. The pictures online were "cleverly taken" to hid some major paint issues. I was able to look over the vehicle by myself for about an hour and noticed several noticeably rusted areas that I was not made aware of (vehicle manufactured in 2008... only 10 years old). The vehicle drove well and had just been "used." The vehicle was used so I knew it would need some TLC. I was a cash customer. After looking at the vehicle and deciding I would purchase it, I went inside and was able to get the "manager" to take some money off of the asking price so I could have the painted areas fixed. They took off some money but it was not as much as I would have liked (I found out later the repair cost more than what they took off the asking price). I had to wait on paperwork after agreeing to purchase the vehicle. This took about 2 hours for the paperwork to be filled out. As I was leaving, the manager walked out and handed me another piece of paper that he said I might need when I got to my DMV. I thanked him for remembering to give it to me but I was a little surprised that it was "forgotten." I had to tow the vehicle back to my home state and about half way back, I realized I did not get a temporary tag. I called the dealership and they had to send me a tag via FedEx. Again, unexpected, how did they forget? Overall I was happy with my purchase (knowing I would have to do some work on the vehicle). I usually purchase vehicles from individuals as they tend to be a little more honest when selling something (like telling you on the phone or in the description that there is a major paint issue or that there is rust in the door hinges). If this dealership has the vehicle you want, just be sure to look the vehicle over with a checklist and see if you can bargain on the price (if its a used vehicle). I think the employees mean well though. Would I buy a vehicle here again? Yes, if the price was right. More
Great dealership, great service department I have purchased nearly a dozen cars from AL West over the many years, VWs, Chrysler, Dodges and Nissans. Great people and great service. And their service charges are more among the most reasonable in this area. This last trade, for a 2016 Altima, was particularly good. More

I just needed to clean a corroded terminal. I did that day, But less than 2 months later I would not start after being in the garage. I immediately called Nissan and asked them if they had a battery, they had one left that they would save for me, and they got me in later in the afternoon. I wanted to let the battery trickle charge, and for it to warm up. You can trust them to get it right. More
