I limped into Rolla, MO, and spent the night wondering how I was going to deal with my situation. The closest mechanic that could look at my VW was 120 miles away and did not have an opening for a week, and my Jetta had over 200,000 miles on it. So, on the recommendation of the motel that I was staying at, I limped into Al West Nissan looking for help. Karen Polanowski took good care of me, taking my Jetta in on trade-in on a Nissan that I could afford, and had me on the road later the same day. I left in an awesome storm, and Karen called me that night to make sure that I made it to my destination. I could not have asked for a more caring and considerate treatment, and my "new" used Nissan made the rest of my 30 day road trip without a hitch. I count myself very lucky to have found this dealership where a stranger is treated so well! More
