Aldo & Martha- I have reviewed your purchase today to try to see what happened. As a dealer that sells over 300 vehicles a month we try to do right by the customer. As the many repeat and referral customers can attest, we work with our customers to keep them happy and coming back for many more purchases. Looking over your paperwork it appears that all of the payment quotes you were given while working out your financing were done at 6%. From what I can tell the Finance department worked hard for you and got you a better deal. The 4.99% that they billed your contract at is shown in the very first box on the contract. It is configured that way so that every customer see's that first. I am sorry that you seem to have noticed that now, 2 months later and believe that it is wrong. The 75 month term is displayed on that very same contract just below the interest rate. The fact that you are unhappy with that is surprising because you could not miss that detail unless you blatantly ignore the first 2 lines of the contract (I do not recommend that for any contract in your life). The Gap insurance that you claim you were not told you have also has its very own contract that the top specifically says "GAP Addendum". Luckily this one is an easy fix. If you have an insurance policy that will cover that GAP difference in the event of an accident, you are welcome to cancel this policy at any time and get a refund (Pro-rated for time used). As per the tires: I can not know if another person told you that they would replace tires. Although it seems that you were not concerned with the condition of the tires until 2 months after your purchase and you found out they would be "$1,600". The policy that we have in effect here is that if we promise you anything for your vehicle that we document it on a form called a "We Owe". That system has worked for the past 10 years plus. The "We Owe" that is in your paperwork and signed by your wife specifically says: "Nothing owed at time of delivery". If you thought that this vehicle needed work, why would you sign that form? Per your telephone call this morning with Chuck (20+ year employee) I did listen to the call as all inbound calls are recorded. The option that he offered you sounded fair. You are still welcome to come in and drive a similar vehicle to see if the tires make the same noise that you believe your car is making. Please keep in mind that the tires still have plenty of tread and life left in them and that different brands of tires are noisier than others. Ford and our dealership will not replace the factory supplied tires on the fact that the customer think that they are too noisy. I also noticed that we did replace the brakes for you (Cost of almost $500) at no cost to you. We did that a month after you purchased in an effort to help make you happy after the fact, and you were very happy at that time with no complaints about your “GAP” or “Interest rate” or “ 75 moth Term”. Chuck was pleasant and never tried to rush you off the phone. You are welcome to come in and listen to the phone call that I just listened to. For your reference the call happened on 9/1 at 9:00 am and lasted 8 minutes and 40 seconds. Please let me know how you would like to rectify this issue.
