I have purchased two vehicles from this dealership and the servi Although the dealership sellers are good, the service department gives it a bad name. I have purchased two vehicles from this dealership and the service department is horrible and I believe unfair to women ( not sure if its just women of color or women in general). I was deceived by pricing and when I went to discuss my issues, both time I was yelled at, called stupid and a liar. This is ridiculous that a company that prospers so much from its consumers, will allow their works to treat us so badly after we have already paid our money. I took my truck in to be repaired. I told the guy to give me an estimate and let me know better he did any work on my truck. Whenever I called to check on the estimate, no one answered. They finally called after it was repaired. I was told it was going to be $300 at one point (which is written on my receipt), but later was told it would be $500 by phone. After speaking with the Service Manager who yelled in my face, called me stupid and a liar and threatened to call the police on me. He said I will not get my truck unless I paid $500. I have the receipt where the $300 amount was written scratched out and $500 was written on it (there is so much more, too much to add). They held my truck hostage and threatened to charge me storage fees, I finally got to someone to help me get my truck and the service department refused to take my form of payment. The same payment I used to purchased both vehicles I brought from the dealership. I was told he would only take cash from someone like me. The work on my truck was tacky to say the least. Also once I finally received my truck I was told that I am banned from Al Piemonte Ford in Melrose Park and if I return for any reason they will call the police and have me charged with trespassing. At the time I was there getting my truck there was another females in the same position and they called the police on her. This is ridiculous and and I'm so disappointed in this company. These people (in the service department, and that includes the ones who keep quite about the actions of their superiors) are not being held accountable for how they treat the consumers who help to provide their paychecks. No sure if the names of the two men I spoke with, but I know one was management in the service department. More
