Service Department Rip Off I took my wheelchair accessible Toyota Sienna van in because the A/C wasn't working. It's been working great for over a month. Way to go Al Hendrickson...not only rip off a customer, but one with a disability. More

I went in for an oil change which took nearly 2 hours! They told me I needed over $1,000 in repairs done. I took the car to my mechanic & asked him to check those things. From beginning, West was professional, knowledgeable,polite. If he did not know, he found out almost immediately. Very little he didn't know......Test drive was very smooth. The reason we went to Al Hendrickson was on advertisement we received in mail.... 0% Financing on 2011/ trade-in. Was disappointed when we liked 2012 Highlander and could not receive that 0% finance offer....... Felt since we were willing to purchase 2012, there could have been a better promotion.........Also we did speak with Manager of new and used car who worked to get us a more affordable deal... He was truly interested in assisting us in every possible way. Disappointed only in Zero% deal for 2012.........Sorry don't recall that gentleman's name. More

I purchased the vehicle couple years ago and it had issues from the beginning, it is a certified vehicle and is supposed to be inspected from day one, however less than a week after the battery died, issues from the beginning, it is a certified vehicle and is supposed to be inspected from day one, however less than a week after the battery died, brakes made noise, and a month later an axel had issues, ok they cover it and replaced the parts, the axel job was bad I had to make three trips to the dealer to get it fix correctly, I was advised to do the recommended service and at the end, many things were checked as inspected and they were never done, as an example wiper blades, I knew they were bad, but they were marked in the service document as inspected, now I,m at another place and I see thet Al Hendrickson Toyota have good customer service but very bad mechanics that service our vehicles. More
Went in for a routine oil change and was quoted a very high price for new parts. After explaining that I wasn't interested because many of the parts were available elsewhere for 50-75% as much, service ma high price for new parts. (05/2010) Went in for a "buy 3, get 1 free" tire deal. Service advisor (Randy Perlman) actually tried to charge me for the fourth tire. Had to argue with him to get the price of the fourth tire removed from the invoice. He also did not include the $80 alignment in the original "everything" price he quoted on the phone. The original quote was only $20 more expensive than Tire Kingdom (which did include the alignment), which is why I took it to the dealer. Next time I'll get something in writing. (08/2010) Went in for scheduled service, but also had to take care of the accelerator pedal recall issue. Service advisor (Steven Ruth) actually charged me $150 for the recall work. He also offered me a "complimentary" wash and vacuum, and then proceeded to charge me $15 for it. It even said "complimentary" on the invoice -- go figure. Al Hendrickson used to have decent service 2-3 years ago. I think the bad economy is driving management to hire service advisors who will do whatever it takes to keep the cash flow coming in. I won't be going back to Al Hendrickson for anything in the future. More

They will try anything to charge you for services they will not perform, and you cannot prove they didn't, unless you come to them prepared. Here it is what they did to me: - They tried to sell me a package of services which I decliend, first. After about one hour of waiting, they came again to convince me that my car REALLY needed some air filter change and injection cleanup. So, I accepted, and after another hour, I got my car from the parking lot, but it won't start - the engine would stop unless it was high accelerated. Another hour, and I was invited to get my car, and this time the engine was kept running while waiting for me. Wery cheap trick, to let the engine running, so the customer won't notice a starting problem. Since then, the car starts difficult, but I'm going to have it fixed at another dealer. AND: the tire rotation, (for which I paid also), they didn't do it (the accidental marks I have on the tires, are in the same places as before). NEVER will visit again this place! More
