I just recently returned my Toyota Camry lease and leased a new Camry SE Hybrid. I dropped it off at the service dept on Sat. Nov. 16th for the windows to be tinted. I recently took my 2019 Camry in for regular service, oil change. They called me and told me I needed #1 Economy front brake pads resurfacing front brake rotors. Rotors are glazed and have deep groves. #2 B change. They called me and told me I needed #1 Economy front brake pads resurfacing front brake rotors. Rotors are glazed and have deep groves. #2 Brake fluid exchange. #3 ALL drive belts need to be replaced. #4 3 part Induction service. And gave me a quote of $925.37. When I said just do the oil change. I was told, "You mean you are going to drive this car out knowing it needs brakes" i said yes. Took my car directly to my, 5 star repair, shop that I have been dealing with for 40 year + years, (after my warrentee expired) had it checked out and was told everything checked out fine. Still had at least 50% left on brake pads. To add insult to injury, that afternoon got a call from one of their salesman asking me if I wanted to upgrade my car as they have some great deals going on. WHAT A SCAM. Neadless to say I won't be going back. BEWARE! PS: Oil change before was given an estimate for $397 which MY repair shop said I only needed 1 minor thing that cost me $179. Lost all respect for this dealership, Coconut Creek. More

I’ve been using Chris Laporte as my service coordinator for almost 15 years. He’s attentive and honest. He’s family as we always share a few private moments at each visit about our families. It's an extremely frustrating situation each time a call is placed to them. They've been sold to another owner in the last month or so, therefore, most of the original phone numbers don't seem to work, henc is placed to them. If by chance, you can find a human, you're then transferred everywhere but to whom you wish to speak with, which is usually getting the vehicle serviced, or you're switched to Sales only to be pressured into buying another car. Most of their better employees are long gone which says a great deal about the top of their food chain. It shows they don't care about anything except getting your money, which is evidenced by [for example] the pressure received when a simple maintenance is done, and you're strongly advised to pay for a bunch of other things that aren't immediately necessary. And, if you ask about those materials that are so needed, [according to the rep], some excuse is provided that you can't access that information. I'm looking for another facility to have my car serviced as I no longer have confidence in their administrative side. More
