My Highlander had been stolen and recovered. The insurance company had it towed to the dealer to be repaired. That happened the end of June. The repairs consisted on some body work (the back passe insurance company had it towed to the dealer to be repaired. That happened the end of June. The repairs consisted on some body work (the back passenger door had been kicked in) and having the car detailed. Also, my keys and remote were never recovered. So, they had to order and program new ones. This took 2 1/2 months to complete. It was a nightmare from the very beginning. First the body shop manager was fired and my car was forgotten about. When I finally got ahold of someone who knew something he told me it was ready to come and pick up. Well, when I went to pick it up, nothing had been done accept the body work. After 2 more trips into the dealer it was finally able to take my car home. I would not recommend this dealership for service to anyone. More
Sales experience was OK except the sales manager kapt coming up with additional charges after the sale price was agreed on. I have a problem with a service department that recommends, as necessary for coming up with additional charges after the sale price was agreed on. I have a problem with a service department that recommends, as necessary for the health of your car, a proceedure called air induction cleaning; cost approximatly $100. The service department says it is necessary on an annual basis while nowhere in the Toyota documentation is it even discussed. I requested a copy of the corporate directive, from the Al Hendrickson customer relations person, which indicated that this proceedure was required and now several months later have received nothing.
