I have been buying cars and trucks from Carlis Bryant since 1 early 1990's and they make the hard task of buying a new or used vehicle very pleasant. I have been buying cars and trucks from Carlis Bryant since 1999 and I have to say that Carlis is a very hard working and knowledgeable salesman. He knows the products he sales very well, is very friendly and I feel he has my best interest in mind when I am talking buying a vehicle. He strikes me as being a very dedicated man who enjoys his job. He is not afraid to work long hours as we have completed deals long after closing time on several occasions. I purchased a new Ford Edge from Carlis this past February which my wife and I am really enjoying driving. When my old Ford truck got totaled in a wreck last May I needed another truck and Carlis said he had just the truck for me. He was right and I bought a 2009 Ford F150 from him. It may be used but Akins Ford had it in immaculate shape and it looked brand new. I am happy with both the car and truck. Akins Ford has a great service department also which I used last week on my Ford Edge. Thank you Akins Ford and Carlis Bryant for being there for me. I am 53 and this was my first car purchase. In trying to find the right car to buy I have spoken with and visited many dealerships, those experiences were not pleasant. Akins was a pleasant sales experience starting with the fact that the buyer is able to test drive the car without a salesman riding with them, then to the straight forward, friendly sales approach - none of those sleazy, insulting tactics most other dealerships use! To the very detailed financial meeting where all my many questions were patiently answered. Ending with a very thorough "technology lesson", reviewing all of the Escape's many features, sending me on my way with a good understanding of how to use all of those features. This was very impressive to me because I would imagine not many other dealers take time AFTER THE SALE to do such a thing - Alan even suggested another route back to Atlanta for me and programmed it in navigation so that my ride home in my new car during rush hour traffic was a breeze! This is exactly how I hoped my first car buying experience would be!!! More
