My husband and I shopped around for a 2013 Black Dodge 1500 4x4 Crew Cab within in 200 miles of our home via the internet. There was one located at Akins very reasonably priced. Prior to leaving for this two hour trip to Winder, GA, my husband called Akins to check if the truck was still available and; luckily, it was still there. That's when my husband met our wonderful salesperson, Larry Prunchak! Larry was friendly, professional, and provided exquisite customer service in a timely manner. He'd immediately sent my husband his contact information as well as the address of the dealership via text. Upon arriving the dealership, we were greeted by two friendly salespersons, one of which had Mr. Larry paged for us. We brought our two teenage boys along with us to Winder. The customer waiting areas and restrooms are clean and comfortable. My boys happily waved "bye" to us in the waiting area as they indulged in the assortment of complimentary beverages and computer access. Nevertheless, the Akins dealership family provided us with impeccable customer service. Larry kept us informed every step of the way. No hidden agendas. Upon arrival to the dealership, I was welcomed by several staff members. I met up with Sam Byrd, who sat down with me and asked me exactly what I was looking for in a car. When I told him we were looking at the 200, he quickly gave me a peace in that he felt that was a great vehicle to get. He had the vehicle pulled around, so that I could take a test drive. Once I returned, Sam sat down with me and walked me through the trade in of my vehicle, along with the other cost of the new car. While waiting for my husband to meet up with me Sam could see that I was very uncomfortable and very uneasy. Sam took time to go over anything I was not sure of, and put me at ease. Once my husband arrived we then met with Mike Morgan to finish up the final details. Mike was very pleasant, and went over in details the options we had as far as warranty coverage. Mike did not pressure us into purchasing more than we wanted. He further made sure we understood what the process was for getting a tag. I contacted Akins concerning a vehicle I had seen on the Internet. Woody called me back and we arranged to meet the next day. He was friendly and outgoing--willing to let me do whatever I wanted. It turned out that the vehicle I'd seen did not meet my needs--no memory seat. So Woody researched other available vehicles in the color I wanted and with the other features I preferred and found the perfect match. He thoroughly explained all the available rebates and worked numerous financing options for me. While he did make recommendations as to which option he thought would be the most beneficial, he did not try to pressure me to purchase the vehicle or take a specific financing option. Once I had purchased the vehicle, he showed me around the Service Department and introduced me to several people I will deal with when I bring the vehicle in for servicing. He also worked with me (most patiently) demonstrating the options on the vehicle, syncing my phone and helping set up other things the way I wanted. After speaking with Todd several times I made a decision that I would drive from South Florida just to purchase a new F150 from their dealership. This was by the far the easiest, most hassle free experience I have ever had in buying a car/truck. The website is very comprehensive and gives a great visual into their inventory. The rebates they offer are for real. There were absolutely no other hidden fees or costs that were not discussed when working out the finances. Everyone that I came across was very helpful and they had terrific follow up on any questions. I was also able to use their custom accessories department and in doing so was able to put on some upgrades that were completely warrantied along with the rest of the truck, and paid less than anywhere else that I researched on-line for the same aftermarket parts. I give them a 10+ rating and have absolutely no complaints. I was treated like family the day I actually drove up and picked up my new truck. I am thrilled with it and it was worth the 10 hour haul because nobody between could even touch the deal. I would easily recommend them to anyone, and actually already have to a couple family members.
