Very dissatisfied! We inquired about a particular vehicle online and drove well out of our way to see it. We dropped in to test drive it on a Saturday. After speaking numbers with them as far as total price we needed to go home and shop around and think on it. We returned the following Monday prepared to purchase the vehicle, again driving way out of our way. When we got to finance everything went downhill. We were told we had to finance through Ford Motor Credit to receive the price we were quoted for the previous time we were there. Not once had they mentioned that before. Usually no big deal, however they gave us a 6.99% APR even with excellent credit. RIDICULOUS! We definitely walked away from that and decided to give a different Ford dealer our business. If i could give less than one star I would. Ron was friendly enough however we feel we wouldn't have wasted his time and ours had we been informed on the fine print on our first visit. More

Worst Experience in my Life- 700 Miles of BSF After couple mths emailing back and forth to Akins(Frank Sergi) I made the 700 mile round trip to purchase 2015 Wrangler Unlimited, Informed him I wa After couple mths emailing back and forth to Akins(Frank Sergi) I made the 700 mile round trip to purchase 2015 Wrangler Unlimited, Informed him I was coming, when I arrive it takes over 20 minutes to find him and then he basically says he has no time for me and turns over to another salesman. I show him the Jeep, Long story short-He turns me over to so called Mgr(Jason Mcdaniel) cause of email price. Mgr in short goes around for another 30 minutes and then asks for $700 more, I offer $500 due to dealer add on. He refuses and leaves me with yet another salesman , I come up another $100 and he goes back to Mgr(Used Cars of all things) and about 10 minutes later they both come in and Mgr says he is all in at the $700.This is Memorial Weekend which was 23May and I am a 22 year Veteran and then he says that includes my $500 Military rebate and I was buying the Freedom Edition(Ironic). They basically told me the last two days they had sold enough vehicles and I could leave so I did. They lost sale after all above over $100.00, I went back to my hotel room and found another dealer not far from them and Sunday went over made a deal for same Freedom Edition for $400 less. That dealer was GREAT!I have never in my 57 years had such a terrible experience with a dealer. Veterans and anyone else looking for a vehicle there are too many fine dealers in Georgia to put up with their xx. More

We are not a huge fan of car dealerships and the whole process. Akins truly changed that experience. Not only was the customer service great but they were fast. They beat MOG Ford and got me in a better Fusion. We were in and out in under 1 hour with all the paper work done. Woody was fast and honest. They gave me more for my trade and gave me a great deal. We would definitely go back. More

We decided to make this the first stop and was glad we did. Very friendly from the moment we walked into the dealership and greeted by the first person. I spoke with Tyler on Saturday prior to arriving that following Monday. We arrived about late morning and Tyler just happen to be with another customer at the time, he was nice enough to ask if he could get another floor rep to assist us, thanks for asking and not let us just stand around waiting. At that point we dealt with Jake, very friendly and ask if we could fill him in on the conversation we had with Tyler. Told him what we looking at and brought the car for us. Explained all the features and even showed us a few thing I didn't already know about. A big plus was he explained the whole Chrysler re certification process for certified vehicles which eased my mind for being a pre-owned car. Even when Tyler was done, he would still check on us and made sure we were happy and needed anything. From the time we stepped into the dealership till the time we walked out was about 3 hours, was expecting to be there about 6. I would very much recommend this place and these two salesman to anyone, and the dealership is family friendly. More
Thank you to Keith and the Collison Center! When my car was hit by another vehicle, I never thought I'd get all the insurance matters taken care of. It was an endless cycle of phone calls and l When my car was hit by another vehicle, I never thought I'd get all the insurance matters taken care of. It was an endless cycle of phone calls and leaving voice mails, and rarely getting to speak to a live person. Even my own insurance company wasted one morning sending me to get an estimate 30 minutes away, instead of telling me that the at fault party was supposed to handle it. I stopped by Akins for an estimate, and Keith (sorry, don't see him in the list of employees) was very helpful in pointing me in the right direction with handling the insurance. It still took a while to deal with the insurance, and I called Keith a few times with questions. He was always courteous and professional. Finally, I got my car in to be repaired, and when Keith called me, a little over a week later, to tell me the car was ready, I should have known something was up when he said he wanted to see my face when I picked up my car. I will just say that Akins, and especially Keith, went above and beyond in taking care of my car, and I am more than happy! In addition to the repair work, they even washed my car before I picked it up! Thank you, Akins! More

She bought $17.5k car at 9% from 5-star ford same day Sleazey way of doing business They preach family owned but that dosent mean family values Im buying a new truck at first of the year and it will not be from Akins at any price! From new car sales to service Just bought my second vehicle from Aiken in Winder. From the salesman from 4 years ago (Sam Byrd) to his sales partner Ryan Healan and the Sales Mana Just bought my second vehicle from Aiken in Winder. From the salesman from 4 years ago (Sam Byrd) to his sales partner Ryan Healan and the Sales Manager, Joe Alewine, my purchase was very smooth with no "this is extra" surprises. I shopped other dealers for the same vehicle, and Aiken came in a couple hundred dollars less. I am totally satisfied with this purchase. That being said, on the first vehicle I purchased from them 4 years ago, my service writer, Justin Gunter is very professional and honest. Always greeted me by name. I never needed major work because of the regular maintenance that I had done. With some dealers you may feel apprehensive or question some of their statements, but I am totally comfortable using Aiken Ford. I HIGHLY recommend Aiken Ford. More

I first purchase a use 2013 Ford Fusion, where the carfax report did not show any accidents or any issues. Shortly thereafter my insurance agent from State Farm told me when she ran the VIN# it came back showing had been in 2 accidents & she gave me the dates etc...I wondered why the car did not seem to drive right and the hood would not shut properly. I took the fusion back to Steve Satterfield and explained everything to him. He took care of everything, got me in a brand new 2014 Ford Mustang! where my payments were not that much higher, because he really pushed hard to get AKINS to buy back the Fusion at a fair/reasonable price, so my negative equity would not be that bad since I had just bought the car from them. Steve told me he just wanted to do what he thought was right considering he had just sold me the Fusion. I will say Steve went to work very very hard on this deal and made it work for me. If anyone I know is looking to buy a car/truck I will fully recommend going to Steve Satterfield @ Akins Ford in Winder, Ga. When my wife needs another vehicle it now goes without saying I will be calling Steve! Thanks for all your hard work Steve, you made it work, Keith More
Vehicle is being held hostage I received a notice from Ford that my vehicle had been recalled. I called Akins to schedule an appointment and I was told the part would need to be or I received a notice from Ford that my vehicle had been recalled. I called Akins to schedule an appointment and I was told the part would need to be ordered. When the part arrived I got a call to set up the appointment. When I dropped my vehicle off the service advisor was friendly and courteous. I was told it may take a couple days to complete the job. A few days later I had not heard anything, so I called to check on the status and was told it would be ready Saturday or Monday. By Tuesday I still did not hear back, so I called again and was told the job was half finished. I asked if the vehicle was being worked on consistently and I was told that they took people who came in for work and waited at the service center first. Basically, I made an appointment only to take a backseat to anyone who unexpectedly shows up for service. This makes absolutely NO sense. The job should have taken one day, not weeks. I do not blame the service advisor that I worked with. She was trying to get the work finished, but having someone bring their vehicle in only to have it sit is ridiculous. Though I had a positive experience with the purchase of the vehicle, I doubt I will be a return customer because of their follow-up service. More
