From new car sales to service Just bought my second vehicle from Aiken in Winder. From the salesman from 4 years ago (Sam Byrd) to his sales partner Ryan Healan and the Sales Mana Just bought my second vehicle from Aiken in Winder. From the salesman from 4 years ago (Sam Byrd) to his sales partner Ryan Healan and the Sales Manager, Joe Alewine, my purchase was very smooth with no "this is extra" surprises. I shopped other dealers for the same vehicle, and Aiken came in a couple hundred dollars less. I am totally satisfied with this purchase. That being said, on the first vehicle I purchased from them 4 years ago, my service writer, Justin Gunter is very professional and honest. Always greeted me by name. I never needed major work because of the regular maintenance that I had done. With some dealers you may feel apprehensive or question some of their statements, but I am totally comfortable using Aiken Ford. I HIGHLY recommend Aiken Ford. More

Steve Satterfield(sales) 5 STARS!!! I give my review 5 STARS!!!!! all the way through. I first purchase a use 2013 Ford Fusion, where the carfax report did not show any accidents or any I give my review 5 STARS!!!!! all the way through. Shortly thereafter my insurance agent from State Farm told me when she ran the VIN# it came back showing had been in 2 accidents & she gave me the dates etc...I wondered why the car did not seem to drive right and the hood would not shut properly. I took the fusion back to Steve Satterfield and explained everything to him. He took care of everything, got me in a brand new 2014 Ford Mustang! where my payments were not that much higher, because he really pushed hard to get AKINS to buy back the Fusion at a fair/reasonable price, so my negative equity would not be that bad since I had just bought the car from them. Steve told me he just wanted to do what he thought was right considering he had just sold me the Fusion. I will say Steve went to work very very hard on this deal and made it work for me. If anyone I know is looking to buy a car/truck I will fully recommend going to Steve Satterfield @ Akins Ford in Winder, Ga. Vehicle is being held hostage I received a notice from Ford that my vehicle had been recalled. I called Akins to schedule an appointment and I was told the part would need to be or I received a notice from Ford that my vehicle had been recalled. I called Akins to schedule an appointment and I was told the part would need to be ordered. When the part arrived I got a call to set up the appointment. When I dropped my vehicle off the service advisor was friendly and courteous. I was told it may take a couple days to complete the job. A few days later I had not heard anything, so I called to check on the status and was told it would be ready Saturday or Monday. By Tuesday I still did not hear back, so I called again and was told the job was half finished. I asked if the vehicle was being worked on consistently and I was told that they took people who came in for work and waited at the service center first. Basically, I made an appointment only to take a backseat to anyone who unexpectedly shows up for service. This makes absolutely NO sense. The job should have taken one day, not weeks. I do not blame the service advisor that I worked with. She was trying to get the work finished, but having someone bring their vehicle in only to have it sit is ridiculous. Though I had a positive experience with the purchase of the vehicle, I doubt I will be a return customer because of their follow-up service. More

New Truck is a lemon I bought a new 2013 Ford F150 crew cab xlt with ecoboost. The transmission has been leaking ever since the first oil change. They are working on it now for the fourth time and Chris Akin the General Manager refuses to buy it back. It has gotten me in trouble at my job as I have had to call out for repairs. I took a short vacation with my family and was forced to use a loaner vehicle instead of driving in my new truck which would have been much more comfortable than the budget car. When buying a new f150 make sure to look at the transmission gear changes on the dash and make sure that 2nd gear engages when the vehicle shifts down. I was told by one of the service people that the computers have been programmed to skip second gear because of some rough shifting issues that no one ever told me about before I bought the truck. More

I walked into this dealership in desperate need of a new car. I was pretty sure I could only drive away in a used one based on what I could afford. We were brought into Akins Ford because of an internet sales flayer. We were shown the vehicle that we asked about in the sales flayer and we were given space to inspect and discuss purchasing the vehicle. Once we decided to purchase the car, the process was easy and painless. Ron had all the answers and was able to show us all the features of our new Fusion. We made this purchase on Black Friday and even with all the traffic, Ron was able to give us outstanding customer service. So far we are enjoying our purchase and would buy from Akins again. More

While test driving he called me to review my trade, when I returned he had all the numbers worked out and gave me a great deal.
