When we got the call it was on it's way to the dealership, we were on our way to finalize the deal. We were greeted the minute we stepped foot on the lot and John and Alvin were paged right away. We also met Dan Theroux the general manager. They all made us feel like we were part of the "Honda Family" and went into detail to show me how to use the new functions on my car. My husband and I purchased our Honda from Airport Marina recently and could not be more pleased with our buying experience. We were looking for our Honda at a time when availability was extremely limit recently and could not be more pleased with our buying experience. We found Airport Marina Honda through their bid on an internet new-car price quote site and emailed them. Alvin Benjamin called us back. We immediately had a comfortable feeling about working with Alvin. He said he didn't have what we wanted on his lot but was confident he could work a trade to get what we wanted. Over the course of several days Alvin kept in touch and let us know he was still working on getting us our car. When he managed to locate the car we wanted and could trade for it he called us to let us know there was a complication: the other dealer had installed a few options on it and wasn't willing to remove them. He listed out what the options were and how much extra they would be if we wanted that car. He didn't pressure us to take the car or to make a quick decision. We weighed our choices and ultimately decided we wanted the car as is with the options (they were good options -- mud flaps, wheel locks, a trunk liner -- and not outrageously priced). We called Alvin back to OK the deal and to arrange a time to come buy the car. We wanted to come in the next day and Alvin graciously agreed to come in even though it was his day off. We showed up and bought the car for the price quoted plus the agreed-upon costs for the options. No haggling. No shenanigans. We got a hard-to-find car at a good price with no hassle. I shopped Culver City Miller Honda, Scott Robinson, Carson Honda, Norm Reeves and Airport Marina Honda. I have never been there for service before because their prices were not competitive enough in the past but I was blown away by the rock bottom price for service AND parts! Airport Honda has proficiently trained their staff to the high standard excellent! Lisa was professional, courteous and efficient. When I retrieved my car it was clean and cool! Alvin was absolutely phenomenal. He made the purchase of my leased vehicle as smooth as possible. I have been leasing with Honda for 3 years now and felt a bit harassed by their leasing company even though my leased vehicle as smooth as possible. I have been leasing with Honda for 3 years now and felt a bit harassed by their leasing company even though I was never late on a payment nor did I ever create any issues with my leased car. They constantly called me asking for reviews in the beginning of the lease and over the past 5 months have been calling nonstop to get my car inspected (since it was the end of my lease) DESPITE me telling them numerous times that I intended to purchase the car. I spoke with a few different people about purchasing my car and I was not that impressed with any of them, but I felt that that was probably a normal reaction, i mean....salesmen are...salesmen. When I came into the dealership, none of the salesmen I had spoken with were around and by chance, I was paired with Mr. Benjamin. I truly can't speak more highly of him and his knowledge, friendliness, and overall customer service. He instantly made me comfortable and made me feel like I was part of his family.
