I am a college student who needed a car that would be dependable and find a car that would work with my budget. My dad and I looked for a good couple months before even visiting a dealership. The employees, including Abner Carl Thomas, were extremely helpful in working with my dad and I on finding a car that wouldn't be a burden to our finances. My dad is a spanish speaker and they were able to explain everything to him clearly, so we both had a clear understanding of what car was most efficient to my needs and how it worked. I left the dealer with a brand-new 2012 Black Crystal Honda Fit. The gas milage is amazing compared to the van and diesel truck I was driving from Redondo beach to Santa Monica everyday for school. I am extremely happy with my car and it's so cute and small. I literally can 'fit' into any parking spot, in any city; be it downtown LA or the parking lot at my school. Alvin stayed late to help me out when I became stranded and needed a new CR-V SE 2WD. Even though he didn't have a car at his location some how he mangaed and got a car for me and get me inside a new CRV and needed a new CR-V SE 2WD. When I was ready to buy, he not only gave me the best price among the many dealerships I contacted, but did so without the good cop/bad cop approach I got from the closest dealership to our home. It was well worth the drive (30 miles) to purchase the vehicle at Airport Honda -- the deal was exactly what I was told over the phone, and Antwoine managed to trade with another dealership to get exactly the color vehicle and options we were looking for. Dealing with Antwoine in person to complete the sale and paperwork was also great. He took us on a test ride, walked us through the paperwork, and explained the vehicle features in a friendly and professional manner. Most of dealing was online via email. When we arrived to do the paperwork, everything was quick and easy. Alvin and the rest of the staff were very nice. We had visited other dealerships and looked at this car but Alvin was by far the most knowledgeable about the features of the Insight and made sure that we were familiar with all the bells and whistles including where the spare tire was and how to tune the radio before we left the lot. Of course this makes good sense - we will most certainly be more satisfied with the car knowing what it can do. One note, he forgot to give us the temporary registration so I can't drive it for the couple of days it will take to arrive. Still he was very nice and even offered to bring it out to us. More
