The time spent at Airport Honda can only be described as a waste. We went in for a test drive and then quickly went down the rabbit hole of numbers and back and forth negotiation...on a car that was on a waste. We went in for a test drive and then quickly went down the rabbit hole of numbers and back and forth negotiation...on a car that was only ok (it was a Mini Cooper, not a Mini Cooper S and we wanted an "S"). The visit went south when the sales rep came back with a ridiculously low trade in offer for a lovely 2002 Lexus SC430 hardtop convertible. The offer was $5,000. Everything worked and the car was in perfect condition. The sales manager was very disingenuous and I personally felt like they thought I was stupid. I'm 62 years old and have bought and sold at least a dozen cars in the past 10 years. This wasn't my first rodeo! My Lexus was valued between $10,000 - $12,000 trade-in and $11,500 - $14,500 private party sale. I received several trade in offers of over $11,000 and I sold the car within a week for $14,000 - cash. These guys are snake-oil salesmen. I will NEVER do business with this rag-tag, bush-league dealership again! More
