I have leased a Chrysler 300C, since July 2010. I love the styling and size of the car, but the computer system has not worked right,since I got it. Yesterday they put in a new computer and gave me a new the styling and size of the car, but the computer system has not worked right,since I got it. Yesterday they put in a new computer and gave me a new set of keys(second time for the keys). They rerturned the car, but the car will not start with the push button, the drivers window still goes up 10 inches and comes down, the trunk will not release by pushing the button in the back, and the car door does not open when you press the button on the door handle. Whether this continues to be the lousy computer or it was returned without being properly set up is irrelevant. The fact remains that I have spent way too much time over the yeear and a half that I have had this car in the shop, because of the computer does not work or just driving a car that does not live up to the standards it should. More
My service advisor, Chris Barbian, went above and beyond in getting the work done on time and even went the extra mile getting an aftermarket part to fit that they didn't even install. This is the 3rd time I have brought my car in for the same issue. Each time I am told it is something different; parts are VERY pricey. I did replace one myself for much less money. This last visit, they were telling me the same part (Mass air flow sensor) was bad. Kept car overnight with no offer of rental and next day told me it was the EGR valve and that cost was over $800. If I had said yes to air flow sensor that too was pricey and wouldn't have solved the issue. Turns out diagnostic fee was not even removed from price of repair when I checked receipt. I call another shop and they can do same repair for 1/4 of the price. I understand you need to make a profit but this is crazy. David was not available when I picked up car on Friday but gentleman who helped me explained diagnosis process. Not sure if you are following what computer says, that the problem has not been correctly identified after 3 visits. More

As the car is back at Airpark because the first trip did nothing to fix the problem the issues with the way you work on cars should be looked at. My wife was given back a car that based on all the work that is now being done to Fix the same issues from this ticket show the car was unsafe to drive. That your service team to say a car is fixed with everything that was truly wrong with my car is gross negligence on the part of the safe involved at Airpark. I am just glad that when I brought it back i demanded Henry authorize a rental car because what I got to start was just bring it back Monday. To answer the WHY just look at what the work being done to truly fix the problem is. The other big issue I have with Airpark's service department is I bring my car in for all its work and was never told on any issues with the front end suspension. I am pretty sure that all the issues being fixed currently didn't just happen overnight and a service department that really inspects cars when they are in for scheduled service would have seen some of the issues before they got to the point we are now. I think I could also make a case that the wearing out of the front tires is a direct result of Airpark's negligence in inspecting the car over the past two years when it has been in for service. As this is for your internal use I hope you do something about it but I am also looking into contacting Chrysler corp since the negligence you service departments showed has a direct impact on their brand and they should know the sloppy work being done at your dealership.
