In 2016, our records show your son brought the Jeep in to service and said the lights went off and on. Unfortunately, we could not duplicate the problem but in a good faith effort, we put a light switch in it. Records show it lasted about a year, and your son came back with the same problem. But again, the lights worked fine while it was here, but we still tried another new switch in it. It could have been a failed part from a year earlier, but we couldn’t figure out what was wrong because the lights were working. Another year later your son brought it back with the same problem. This time, the computer indicated that it needs a control module which was unpleasant news. We offered to help and credit the amount of previously paid repairs, so you would have paid the difference. Unfortunately, you declined our offer. We wish you luck with your repairs.

This response is not factual and contains misleading and inaccurate information. I have service receipts to document all of my facts. 1. October 12, 2016- Jeep was brought in while under extended warranty. The issue is documented. Service receipt says: RC Repairs completed.. see Technicians Story for repair description. There was no charge for this repair because it was under an extended warranty. Feb. 28, 2017- Same Issue. The technician was unable to replicate the issue. We asked if they ran diagnostic. They stated they did and could not find an issue. Again we were not charged because the vehicle was under extended warranty. 3. The Vehicle was brought in on May 26, 2017, Same issue. 4. November 27, 2017- Same Issue. The vehicle is no longer under extended warranty. We expressed drivability and safety issue again. The technician is again able to duplicate the issue and changed the switch multi-function. We paid around $600. This issue persisted even with this switch change. 4. The vehicle was brought in again on August 23, 2018. Same issue. We paid for 1-3 hours of diagnostics. Expressed our concern about drivability and safety. They again said it was the same switch that they changed in Nov of 2017. We paid $428.00 They verified the concern and allegedly repaired it. 5. One month later September 1, 2018, we brought it in for the exact same issue. They said trhey could not find an issue. 6. April 25, 2019. We brought it in for the same issue. They kept the car for 7 days, left it outside and did not find any issue. They returned the vehicle to us very dirty and not repaired as the said they could not duplicate the issue. 8. August 29, we brought the vehicle in for the same issue. They did a diagnostic and said they found the issue. It required a $1500.00 part and they wou;ld only charge us a portion if. It's been 3 years with the same issue. It's a drivability and safety issue. It's not a new issue. They never fixed it from 2016 when it was under warranty. They were rude and unprofessional and now they are misrepresenting the facts stating thet we had it in in 2016 and noe brought it back and want it fixed in 2019. Do you really want to work with a dealership or service department that is incompetent and does not tell the truth? They have no conern for drivability and safety. FIX THE JEEP COYE. TELL THE TRUTH. I HAVE ALL THE SERVICE RECEIPTS. The JEEP IS A SAFTY ISSUE.

In addition, you did duplicate the problem and replaced the same switch 2 times. The issue is the switch was never the issue. The issue was always the control module which should have been replaced in 2016 while under warranty, So actually you charged us for parts that were not necessary to fix the issue, neglected to fix it under warranty and now when the real issue is found you act like you are going al out. Did you lose all of the other service receipts I have referenced? Or you trying to tell the story with lies that make you look like you are competent?
