Be Careful you dont get "CHEATED" Be very careful dealing with this company, I believe they will happily cheat you. We are a military family that has just been moved to the Fairbanks a Be very careful dealing with this company, I believe they will happily cheat you. We are a military family that has just been moved to the Fairbanks area and needed to find a second car. In shopping around we found a vehicle (Toyota Sienna van) that would have been right for our needs on the Affordable Used Cars lot. In doing a little research on the van we found that the price that the dealership was asking was the absolute highest price listed on any of the auto valuation site (KBB, NADA, etc) for this kind of vehicle in EXCELLENT condition, however the vehicle was not in excellent condition. In initially speaking to the salesman they were willing to make some small concession in the price for all the cosmetic damage that the vehicle had, and although saying over an over again that that they of course stand behind the quality of their vehicles 100% would offer no kind of writing or warranty (not even 15 days) for the vehicle or to indicate this belief in the quality of their vehicles. I was finally able to get them to let me take the vehicle to an independent mechanic to take a look at it. The mechanic, after doing a good inspection they found that the vehicle had serious mechanical issues and needed some major repairs (about $1600). I went back to the dealer with the intent of either having them repair the problems or reducing the price to account for the actual condition of the vehicle so that I could still have the vehicle repaired. The dealer wanted their mechanics to look at the car (as if they hadn't looked at it already). After looking at the car the dealership initially tried to ignore the issue by saying that it was not really a problem, but later (after some pressure) admitted they had found the problem and it did in fact need the repairs claimed. Rather than repair the vehicle or negotiate a reduced price (so that I could have it repaired) they decided that they no longer wanted me to buy the vehicle and put it right back on the lot for the same "full value" price they had been originally asking. I can only guess that they were hoping that some other "sucker" would come along and they could try again to pass off this vehicle on them for a price WAY above what it was really worth. BE VERY CAREFUL More
