Service department is terrible. Last 2 visits they told me there was a nail in my tire. He also refused to enter my car for service. I went to talk to the service manager and he said “well there’s construction in the area”. “We don’t put nails in tires”. Very defensive. I said it better not happen for a THIRD time. I would warn everyone to stay away from Advantage Hyundai and their service department. More
I recently brought my car in for service. After two hours they told me that they had lost my car and that it had been stolen from their property. The agency manager told that it was my problem and tha hours they told me that they had lost my car and that it had been stolen from their property. The agency manager told that it was my problem and that I should take it up with my insurance company. The manager and the dealership took no responsibility regarding the safe keeping of vehicles under their control and on their property. It is apparently their position that anyone who brings a car for service does so at their own risk. More

Two months into my lease I begin hearing a rattling noise coming from the sunvisor sunroof area. 7/14, 7/20, 8/14 & again 8/21 for the same rattling noise that at this point genesis Corp is involved and my car is not being worked on because warranty work is only paid out to a dealership once unless approved by corporate. Advantage Hyundai is in possession of my vehicle as I have a loaner car. Corporate says they are a high line car, they don’t act as such. Not really working with the customer (me) working within perimeters to get corporate down to see my car, receiving excuses, the typical runaround. All I want is the rattling noise to be fixed correctly. More
Worst service department. Made 2 appointments for a recall for 2019 Tucson. Both times when I showed up after taking the AM off from work, was told the parts for the recall were not in stock. This service dept was the best! I'd travel 50 miles from Brooklyn because of their customer service. But with changing faces came different attitudes. Was told I qualified for a new engine. Then called a few days later to come get my car because the criteria for new engines changed AFTER I brought my car in. Excuse me??? My car was already APPROVED! The service has changed dramatically. Read the reviews. This past year, they've attempted to charge me for things covered under warranty and other things Ive had to challenge them on. And now this!!! The lack of professionalism and uncaring ways is horrible. This service dept was never like this. Bring back the staff that showed compassion and was like family. The ones that knew you by name and made you want to tell everyone to go there! You used to be able to talk to the manager. You cant even speak to him. He keeps sending the same person you had a problem with to deal with the issue! I have filed complaints with Corporate Office and BBB about my engine replacement. Hyundai should be ashamed! Service center: I had a really horrible experience. I went for an estimate and when their price was really high, they wouldn’t give me my keys back unless I paid them $150 as a diagnostic fee. I naturally assumed it would be more at the dealership but the I think they charged an exorbitant amount. I complained to the person I dealt with and requested a manager call back but they didn"t. I have 2 cars and brought the first car in for a few oil changes but wait times was stated to be an hour but was always over 2. Therefore, I stopped going there even though I had free oil changes. Then my 2014 Hyundai Accent started burning oil. I went back and had to do an oil test. I had to pay for an oil change which I did even though when I bought the car, I had free oil changes. I then had to bring my car back on 4 different occasions for them to test the oil. My car needed a new engine which was replaced free my Hyundai since it was under warrantee. I get a call that my car is almost done on a Thursday and then receive a call on Tuesday saying my cars been done since Friday where am I? I go to pick up my vehicle and when I return the loaner and my car is given to me, My Air conditioner is broken. I go back in to be told by Demitry that my ac was broken when I dropped off. I say " NO it wasn't, I was using it when I dropped it off." He said, he was noted on my paperwork that it was broken but never told me cause he figured I knew. I asked for a manager, I spoke with Chris. Who didnt even look up from his computer at me and said " HIs service dept said it was broken and that the AC is not touched during an engine change and since I WAS JUST A WOMAN, I HAD NO CLUE ABOUT REPAIRS. I then was very upset and told him that was unacceptable. HE walked into an office to speak with some one else and closed the door and stated " ANOTHER F***** IDIOT". They out freon in my ac but within a week, It was not working again. THANK GOODNESS for corp stepping in since, MY request for a call back from JOHN the local general manager went unanswered and also the district manager who I requested was unresponsed. ADVANTAGE HYUNDAI gives HYUNDAI a bad name. SERVICE and SALES are Horrible. They were sexist and namipulative. They LIE. *****CORP allowed me to go to another Hyundai dealership which covered my repairs for my AC since ADVANTAGE HYUNDAI caused the problem. BTW the AC is contacted to the ENGINE so when they remove the engine, they need to either remove the ac or tie it up so it doesn't get a hole in it******* Advantage is the worst DEALER SHIP ever ****** More

I leased the limited edition 2019 Kona as well as the extra tire package, I got a flat and called the roadside service which was a guy in a maxima, not a tow truck. I have amazing credit and pay $412 a month for a limited edition Hyundai and it didn’t even come with a spare tire Or donut or run flats. The roadside service couldn’t help me. They never offered for me to pay for a spare or eve told me there was no spare when I purchased the car. They did nothing for me and treated me like garbage. Manager didn’t even come out of his hole! More
