We purchased our new car at Hawk Chevrolet in Bridgeview, IL, and go there for regular oil changes and maintenance. In July 2020, we went to Hawk for this regular service. During that visit, multiple Hawk employees did not wear a mask at all. I reported this to their management, both in writing and on the phone. I was assured that this would be addressed and remedied. So, we gave your establishment a second chance. I came on Saturday, February 6 for scheduled oil change and maintenance. When I walked in at 9:55 a.m. for my appointment, Jonathan, a service employee, was not wearing a mask and was shouting at a customer as well as at Tom, another employee. When it came to my turn, I asked him if any employee working on my car would be wearing a mask while inside of my car. He assured me they would and apologized and put on a mask. As soon as I went to sit down in the waiting area, Jonathan took off his mask and continued to do so. In my 2 1/2 hours waiting for my car to be ready, I witnessed multiple employees, both in service and in the sales department, walking around without a mask on. I asked another employee who identified himself as a sales rep about this. He apologized and said it would be remedied. He said he would have a manager talk to Jonathan. Then, referring to Jonathan, he said "he doesn't care." In addition to the multiple sales representatives who were not wearing masks, one employee not wearing a mask, who is named Rocco, joked and shouted loudly in the sales area, multiple times using the F-word loudly enough to be heard all the way in the service waiting area. He also stood by the cashier's window, without a mask, talking loudly on his phone on speaker. To confirm what I have written, merely review your security tapes to confirm all that I have said is true. For these reasons, we will not be coming back to your dealership and will take our future business elsewhere More
