Extremely Poor Service – Dishonest and Unprofessional! I had an extremely frustrating experience with Advantage Chevrolet of Bridgeview. I took my commercial work vehicle in for an A/C issue on March 2 I had an extremely frustrating experience with Advantage Chevrolet of Bridgeview. I took my commercial work vehicle in for an A/C issue on March 24, 2025, and the $200 diagnostic fee was required. Despite having already replaced the compressor and refilled the Freon, they told me the Freon was “contaminated” and needed to be drained and refilled for an additional $600, assuring me that this would fix the issue. The next day, they claimed the problem was actually with the valve—something they had failed to check earlier. When I questioned why the compressor wasn’t properly checked from the start, I received no clear explanation. After more delays, they changed their diagnosis again, claiming that the compressor was the real issue and quoted me $1,300 more to fix it. Frustrated, I decided not to proceed with further repairs, only for them to refuse to release my vehicle unless I paid $800, essentially holding my car hostage. I had no choice but to pay a total of $1,900, and while the A/C was eventually repaired, the entire experience was a waste of time, money, and energy. Their lack of expertise, poor communication, and constant misdiagnosis caused me to lose valuable days of work, as this is a commercial vehicle. I would NOT recommend this service center to anyone. They are dishonest, unprofessional, and only interested in making money at the expense of customers. More

BEWARE - No Clear Vehicle Title after 15 months. We bought a car for our son in November of 2023 and paid cash for it. The dealer was negligent in preparing the paperwork and indicated there was a We bought a car for our son in November of 2023 and paid cash for it. The dealer was negligent in preparing the paperwork and indicated there was a lien on the title paperwork. The dealer has acknowledged they made this mistake. Fast forward to March 14, 2025 and we still don't have a clear title for the vehicle, 15 months later. The dealer has refused to make this right, can't produce a clear title, and will not buy the vehicle back. Advantage Chevrolet says there is "no problem, the car is ours". We may have possession of the vehicle but cannot sell or trade it as the title indicates a lien. They've rarely return calls and have indicated "we hope we'll have the title soon". Have filed with the Attorney General's Office, Better Business Bureau, and most recently opened a case with the Federal Trade Commission. Please think twice before buying a vehicle at Advantage Chevrolet. More
