Poor Customer Service from Anthony/Tony James Lane's service was exceptional. However we had to endure the pitiful service of Anthony/Tony (bluntly refused to give his surname). After we pur James Lane's service was exceptional. However we had to endure the pitiful service of Anthony/Tony (bluntly refused to give his surname). After we purchased the vehicle I received a call from Anthony/Tony. When I answered my phone he blurted out "you owe us $500 for taxes. What are you gonna do about?" I am 3hrs behind so I was in bed. I explained that we went over everything with James so I don't understand. He rudely repeated himself. I obliged and paid over the phone. Over two weeks go by and he is not returning any of my wife's calls and always seems to be busy when she calls. We have yet to receive the title for the vehicle we paid cash for. I finally went through every avenue available to me. I was contacted by Chuck Darwhich within the hour. He apologized and assured me the necessary people involved will contact me the following Monday. I received a call from Anthony/Tony who informed me I will be receiving my $500 back and we will be receiving the title soon. I was given no explanation for the delay or why I had to pay an extra $500 which will now be returned to me. More time passes and we haven't received the title. My wife is now frustrated that she keeps getting the runaround. I call the dealership and it's the same story, he is busy. I insisted he returns my call. Miraculously he calls. When I answered the phone without even greeting me Anthony/Tony says "what's the problem". I asked him the reason for his attitude and told him I didn't appreciate his tone. I began expressing our frustration and began to inquire about the vehicles title. He kept cutting me off and would not let me finish what I had to say. He then said "first off I didn't have any attitude but now I'm gonna give you an attitude". I just about lost it. He hung up the phone. I called and asked to speak to his superior. I forgot her name but she was very pleasant and listened to my concerns. She assured me it will be dealt with and I should be receiving a call shortly. My phone rings and I answered, it's Anthony/Tony. He asks to speak to my wife. I informed him she is at work. He insisted on speaking to my wife and refused to give me any information. I'm in Vegas and she is in Georgia and he knows this. Anthony/Tony is the most disrespectful and unprofessional person we have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. My wife called to let me know they were to refund us not $500 but $800 and change and they would overnight her an extension on her temporary tags. As for the title it somehow got lost so it was never mailed to her despite her being told it was. Everyone at this dealership who we interacted with was pleasant and professional with the exception of Anthony/Tony. Avoid this person at all costs! More
