worst experience ever was told lie after lie about vehicle. no problems with vehicle and would be adequate for my needs. broke down on me within 48 hours of owning it causi was told lie after lie about vehicle. no problems with vehicle and would be adequate for my needs. broke down on me within 48 hours of owning it causing me extra expenses and loss of a job. kept my truck a week finding "issues". after being guaranteed truck had no problems. got back truck and the transmission went out on the way home. now my phone calls will not be answered. please reconsider before purchasing from these folks. Even made some suggestions for what my budget could handle. When it was all said and done he put me in a car that I LOVED and took his time doing it, always in constant communication with me. My Salesman Having to find and purchase a pre-owned vehicle in 4 days was a challenge to say the least. First day looking I must have visited 10 dealorships only Having to find and purchase a pre-owned vehicle in 4 days was a challenge to say the least. First day looking I must have visited 10 dealorships only to find creepy salesmen trying to unload a 1995 Chevy with 200,000 miles or a dented, rusted, and scratched up exterior with an interior that looks like Wolverine attempted to wipe the cloth seats and the upholstry. Next day was more of the same but in a different state. A salesman at one dealorship tried to sell me on a car with extensive damage to the left side of a car by stating the exterior has nothing to do with the engine. This experience was not looking good until the 3rd day of searching. I found a rather large pre-owned dealorship on the internet and decided to check the place out. My parents and I (I am a grown woman but chose to have 2 more opinions tag a long for a day of fun car shopping!) drove into the parking lot and decided to walk through the maze of good looking vehicles. As we were eye-balling the cars we were greeted by a salesman by the name of James. From my experience the past few days, salesmen were not exactly received with open arms. We continued to walk along and even tried to shake James (on his golf cart) off. However James turned out to be extremely helpful, very pleasant, and even felt like an instant friend. James understood what I was looking for and took us to a bunch of cars that were in my budget that I might be interested in. He spent quite a while with us talking about sports, etc and every once in a while about cars. James was never pushy. James was honest with answers about our questions. Getting overwhelmed with choices James showed me a SUV he thought I would like. This vehicle was gorgeous and very well maintained inside and out. He let me take a test drive and was a great sport during that drive. James has a personality that instantly makes you feel at ease and comfortable. There was never any pressure when we decided to leave and think about the vehicle overnight. At the other dealorships I had to pretty much run from the salesmen while they chased after me hollaring such offers as adding free car mats, so I could leave. The next day I gave James a call stating that I wanted the SUV. He told me he would take care of everything for me. When I got to Adams Auto Group my "new SUV" was sitting up front looking even better than before. The vehicle was washed and had new tires on it. The inside was sparkling clean and smelled deliciously. The paperwork went very smoothly and felt like I was sitting with a friend. The whole experience at Adams Auto Group was very nice and much of that was because of James. I will recommend anyone who is in the market for a nice pre-owned vehicle to visit Adams Auto Group and to be on the look out for James. Thanks so much for a pleasant and sometimes fun car buying experience! More
