Liers On Dec. 7, 2018, we visited the dealer located at South Blvd. From the beginning, the staff was so nice, when they invited us to drive the car that we On Dec. 7, 2018, we visited the dealer located at South Blvd. From the beginning, the staff was so nice, when they invited us to drive the car that we were interested in, we noticed a tool light on the dashboard. Obviously, we asked about that and their answer, (sales person, general manager and the mechanic guy) was that it meant regular maintenance. We bought the car and the next day the check engine light turned on; we returned to the dealer on Dec. 10,2018, also, because the cruise control did not work either. They had my car until Dec. 30, 2018 to fix all the problems. When we picked the car up nothing was fixed because the part that they ordered came wrong, because the holidays and all kind of excuses. The said that the PCM needed to be replaced. Finally the right PCM arrived, they replaced it and flashed it at an authorized place, they told us that it will be the solution to all the problems but NO! After they had the car for another 3 days and returned to us, both lights came on again. I took the car to another place for a diagnosis, the result....the catalytic converter was broken. I brought the car again to them and they fixed the catalytic but told me that they cannot fix the cruise control. The check engine light went off but the other light did not, they told us it was because of the cruise control. We bought an external warranty to the car and they said that the warranty will cover that because they don't have anything else to do to it. Finally, I got my car, partially fixed but I got it. I took the car to an authorized diagnosis and repair center and they found that the problem was not the cruise control, the real problem was in the brakes system and Adams Auto Group never found it. I paid for that repair but the little tool on the screen never went away. Something that they told us just meant regular maintenance was something worse. I paid for an extensive diagnosis and found out that it was a PCM wire that caused problems a long time ago and they never told us and they never repaired it. I called the dealer and the answer from the General Manager was: "I'm sorry, you have to call the old owner and ask him to pay for the repairs" That is ridiculous! They played with us the whole time, they sold us a car that they knew had problems, they lied to us the whole time, they had my car for more than a month and fixed just superficial things but never took care of the real problems. They were ready to give me the e-mail, name and phone number of the old owner and make his information public. They told me that they cannot pay for more repairs but they already knew when I bought the car that the car had problems with the brakes system and the PCM. Now, they don't pay for anything and my husband and I had to pay more than $800.00 for a diagnosis, brakes system repair and PCM repair. I am very disappointed because we trusted them, we believed them and they played with us.
