I was in the market for a used Jeep Wrangler. I saw an online listing for one I liked, at Adams Jeep of Maryland. I called the dealership, and was greeted by Kieth Cook. We discussed a few details over the phone, then arranged a visit. Upon arriving at the dealership, Kieth introduced himself, and offered me a refreshment. We sat down and started the sales process. I was trading in a vehicle, and that part was smooth. They offered me a great price on the trade in. Kieth then started working on the financing. Kieth and the staff were able to get me a great rate for my loan and explained everything to me as it happened. I was in and out in just over an hour and a half. Purchased a new 2013 Jeep Wrangler Sahara over the weekend and I love the Jeep. The overall feeling at Adams Jeep was laid back and I did not feel pressured at all during my entire purchasing experie weekend and I love the Jeep. I would recommend Adams to any of my friends for a good deal on a Jeep without pressure tactics I have experienced at other dealerships. Craig a new salesman helped me but it is clear although he was trying very hard to be helpful, he needs more time on the job to increase his knowledge of the dealerships inventory and vehicle options. After test driving a 4 door Sahara, I asked if there was a 2 door automatic, hardtop Sahara that wasn't in black or white and was told no. When we walked around, we located the silver 2 door hardtop, automatic, Sahara in the back corner of the lot that I eventually purchased. John Huth was great. John made me feel comfortable and suggested that we take the 2 door Sahara out for a drive and get some lunch to talk about the vehicle. No serious pressure, he just wanted us to take the time we needed to decide on the vehicle. I understand Craig is very new to selling cars but he needs to know more about the options and features, and be able to demonstrate them without being overly prompted. For example, the 4 door Sahara had an upgraded communication package with a Nav button on the dash, the 2 door had a different set up without the Nav button so I assumed that it did not include Navigation. After looking at the sticker over lunch, we noticed that it included Navigation. When we asked about it, John immediately said that the Nav button was on the touchscreen for that package number and told Craig to show it to us after the car was cleaned up. Mike Davidson in finance was excellent and efficient, explained various options without pressure or a hard sell. Mike listened to my needs and suggested a extended warranty option that made the most sense given my driving habits with only a couple of dollars more a month. More
