Initially, I went to Westchester Acura just to "take a look". A co- worker of mine had referred me to the dealer--not because he bought a car at the dealer but because he too was referred to just "take a look". From the moment I got there, I was received with open hands and with no pressure at all. I was looking for an upgrade over my 2009 Nissan Altima. I was taken care of by Claudia Parra who did a great job at making me feel at home. We went for a test drive on a 2012 Acura Tl, and I was enamored by the handling, sophistication and the luxury of the base model. By the time I drove back to the dealer,I was already talking colors, options, etc. I placed my application in, and they were able to take in my Nissan as well as put me in the TL within 48 hours---A TL, with the specifications I wanted! It was amazing to come out with a car I really wanted. Moreover-there was 0 pressure and no harrassing representatives.. My overall experience at Acura of Westchester was outstanding. I worked with two sales consultants John Castillo who was new and very helpful. Rich Link was the other sales consultant. I was not sure if the RDX was the right SUV for me. I have always owned a full size SUV. I could not make up my mine and both sales consultants did not pressure me. At one point they did bring me into the managers office and I thought ok here come the pressure. I was wrong he was just as professional and courteous as John and Rich. After about 2 hours I bought a 2012 RDX. I could not pick it up until Saturday which was fine. On Saturday everything was ready. While I was signing papers and hand over my downpayment Rich started the car put the heat on (it was raining and cold), and he explained how everything worked, including transfering my address book form my cell phone and the car was warm. I brought in my 2007 RDX (purchased here in 2009) for service last week, and figured I would inquire about the possiblity of getting a new 2012 MDX my wife wanted. I have purchased/acquired two cars from Acura of Westchester. I previously worked with Robert and Liam and seperate occasions (Robert on my 07 RDX, and Liam on an 10 TL), and both are class acts, making me feel right at home as they always do. This was also the first time I met and dealt with Frankie Ferraro. Frankie was poised and professional, easy to talk to and get along with. He had a very positive can do attitude, like the rest of the dealership's employees do. I can't say enough about this dealership and how great it is to work with them. When I had some questions about the original numbers Frankie quoted me on the 2012 MDX lease, GM Ken Hicks took the time to personally go through the numbers with me. Ken really came through with a solid deal, and I was really happy with the numbers and also the personal attention he provided. All in all, this sale was a team effort by Acura of Westchester, and everyone did a great job at this dealership, from initial inquiry to delivery.
