Will Not Return-sales was miserable In July we had been in contact with the dealership about the price of a 2017 RDX. After several days of back and forth on pricing, we were told that In July we had been in contact with the dealership about the price of a 2017 RDX. After several days of back and forth on pricing, we were told that the car’s price had actually increased $1000 because “work was performed”. We waited two more days for clarification and after never hearing back, called the dealership again, only to speak to a manager and find out that the car had been sold… several days ago. After inquiring with this manager as to why we were strung along for days on a car that had been sold, we were put in touch with the internet sales manager who informed us that they had 2 “manager’s specials” and to come up and see them. We headed to Acura with our 14 month old daughter to test drive the car. After arriving, we were told someone would be with us shortly. After about an hour of sitting in the waiting room entertaining our daughter, and watching several salesman standing around, someone finally came to inform us to remain patient but they could not locate the keys to the car. Another 30 minutes later, they finally located the keys and we were able to test drive the car. We drove the black RDX and then inquired about the 2nd gray RDX that the internet manager mentioned, only to be told that the internet manager doesn’t know their stock and there was never a second car available. We decided that although the experience so far had been less than ideal, this was the only 2017 RDX available in the area at that price and decided to put a deposit down. Before signing any papers or putting down the deposit we asked about a referral program as my in-laws had purchased 3 MDX’s from Wappingers previously. We were informed that they couldn’t give us the referral fee because we “got too good a deal on the car” and we were supposed to mention that as soon as we walked into the dealership (when we were ignored for an hour and a half?) We still decided to move forward, again because this was the only 2017 RDX with the advance package available for that price within 250 miles. We agreed to pick the car up Monday at 3:00. We had also agreed that the dealership would fix a small scratch by calling a local company they use to buff it out and fix it. After a small delay, we arrived at the dealership at 3:30 and were told to wait again. We again had our 14 month old daughter with us. We were informed that the car was not ready for delivery and still needed to be cleaned. After almost an hour we were called into the finance office to do our paperwork. Finally at about 6:30 with a cranky daughter, we were ready to go with our finally cleaned car. We got in and saw that there was only a quarter tank of gas. I would think that when purchasing a luxury car like Acura, the least that they could do is fill the gas tank upon purchase. In addition to that, the small scratch that they promised to bring in a company to buff and paint, was fixed with touch up paint. We thought the terrible customer service was finally over, only to not receive our registration for the new car. With 1 week left before the temporary registration expired, we inquired as to when the new one would arrive. We were told that someone had to look into and would get back to us. After calling for updates for a week straight we were told that it would be sent out later in the week. It never arrived and we called again. We were told that it would be sent shortly and if we got a ticket for driving without a registration, to send them the bill. Two weeks later and about 10 phone calls to managers and we finally received the registration. If it wasn't for the fact that this dealership had the car that we wanted and was the only one in the area, I would not have entered this dealership nor recommended it to anyone that I know. After this poor performance throughout the entire sales process, our parents who were interested in purchasing another MDX have decided to go in another direction and purchase a Lexus at this time. I am coming from a Nissan where service was basic but good to Acura which I have always thought of as a step up and more luxurious. That has not been my experience in my first purchase with this dealership. I have since told others of my experience and said that I would not recommend this dealership. The only positive about this dealership is their service department, who is friendly and willing to work with you. More

Outstanding Dealership in everyway Since 2005 when I purchased a new TL this has been our dealership of choose. The service department is always professional and concerned about you and your vehicle. Eddie has been a long time employee at the dealership. He has become a trusted friend who genuinely cares about your vehicle. He also takes the time to get to know you. Eddie does not try to sell you any unnecessary service or parts. John, the service manager, always checks to see if you are satisfied with everything. They are professional, courteous, and do quality work which they stand behind. If your car needs to stay in the shop for an extended time, they will offer you a loaner. Great move because when they gave us an RDX my wife loved it. We purchased a 2016 RDX and the service has not disappointed us. In May we purchased a 2017 TLX for our son. I still have the TL as my daily driver. We will continue to return to Acura of Wappingers Falls because of the great and friendly service we receive. What first brought us to this dealership was the salespeople. Each time we purchased a vehicle the salespeople did not try to pressure us. Our latest salesman Brian Tota was very professional. We negotiated a price for the new car and my trade-in with no hassles. Everyone in sales and finance were considerate. Needless to say that we will continue going here for our cars. Tire rotation was $26.99 and they gave me $5.00 off. I also wanted roof rails and crossbars installed. I found the website confusing for prices so I called to ask. I was given one price on the phone and a higher price when I dropped the car off. After speaking with the service representative and manager they adjusted the price to less than I could have imagined. Needless to say I was extremely happy with the outcome. I will bring my rdx there in the future for service More
