I dropped in for an oil change without an appointment and was able to obtain one right away. I stayed until it was completed. The service was quick, efficient and came with the customary car wash. The person explained to me that the windshield rubber around the front of the car was becoming hardened and breaking up so next time I would not be able to get my car pressure washed. I appreciated the information. The parts department looked to see if they could order the new part and my car is so old they no longer able to. I was provided the parts number and informed if I went online I could probably find the part and then have a glass shop install it for me. I always appreciate the thorough inspection of my vehicle. It was my mother's prior to her passing so I will keep it for as long as it runs for sentimental reasons. It is a 1999 and only had the one owner. Still runs like a charm due to Acura's great care of it. More

When I stopped in to pick-up the part, Bret was very nice. In fact he apologized for our earlier interaction, which I appreciated and frankly thought took some guts. Bet also explained how part of the problem was the quoted time frame of 4-5 days, when it should have been 7-10 days, and he mentioned that this issue of misquoting time frames has already been addressed with his staff. Truth be told, had they told me 7-10 days, I would have likely ordered the part online. That said, it certainly seems like this was just a misunderstanding, and I appreciate that Bret was quick to correct the issue. Original review: I ordered a shift solenoid first thing Monday morning 3/18/2019 and I was told that it would be available for pick-up in 4-5 days. Today is day 5, so I called to see if it was in. I spoke to the parts manager Bret. Not only was Bret incredibly rude when I asked if the part was in, but worst of all the part is not in and Bret's now telling me that it will be another 3-4 days. If when I had originally called about the part, had they told me that it was going to be 8-9 days, I wouldn't have ordered the part from them. This is what I get for trying to keep the business local and help out a local company. Fair warning, do not buy parts from Acura of Salem. Save yourself the hassle, time, and some money and order parts from one of the many Acura/Honda dealerships online. Not only will it save you the hassle of dealing with a bonehead like Bret, you'll save some money as well. More

Disappointed in my scheduled appointment I had a 9AM appointment for a northwest treatment package. This day you were short on help moving cars through the service line. I was taken to the show toom and told my sales girl would come to help me. After waiting about 20 minutes I called her and was told she quit yesterday. No one still in his area to answer questions or help. Pulled through to the other side of the building but no one around. Drove down the road and come back through the service line. A nice young girl went to find me help. Almost an hour from my appointment time she takes me to Duane. He sad he had a meeting and gave a half hearted sorry. He did not call to let me know my car was ready for pickup. He didn’t know where the keys were when we arrived. No follow-up instructions on treatment. Just a good bye. wish I would have bought a Toyota. They rock! More
