Service Center Bait & Switch I received a coupon in the mail for a basic oil change, tire rotation, and multi point inspection for $70 some dollars. My 2014 MDX has not much over I received a coupon in the mail for a basic oil change, tire rotation, and multi point inspection for $70 some dollars. My 2014 MDX has not much over 10K miles on it and was due for its first maintenance (according to the in-vehicle system) . I called and made an appointment and the lady said that the coupon would cover the items due for service since the oil change and inspections are the main service items due, so I made the appointment. The next day when the car was in the shop I received a call and was told that the service cost for the first maintenance would be a little over $600. Shame on me for not pushing back harder on the previous day's conversation but the lady that took the initial order was off that day. Seems like the classic Bait and Switch to me, told one thing one day, then when they have the car at the shop it's something different! Buyer Beware! Its a shame, prior service with this dealership has been very positive. More
Front end alignment I recently leased the Acura ILX and decided I would take advantage of the free car wash service at the dealership. On my way I realized their was a sl I recently leased the Acura ILX and decided I would take advantage of the free car wash service at the dealership. On my way I realized their was a slight tremor in the steering and that it wasn't perfectly straight. I hadn't made a service appointment but decided to take the chance and see if the problem could be corrected. One of the service advisers passed on the case to Danielle Ballard who did a fantastic job of keeping me abreast of the diagnosis of the problem and the repairs to the vehicle. The wait time was a little lengthy as was expected as I had not made an appointment, however the customer lounge area was quite comfortable and had free refreshments which made it bearable.. Awesome job on the car, there was no charge and there has been no recurring problems to date. More

He always did his best to make sure I was content with the the value of service and explained each service provided for the last 7 years. I have returned to Acura Peoria even after my Acura's warranty expired and decide it is safer to do so over the other service shops.
