5 STARS ACROSS THE BOARD I dealt with Aaron on a prior purchase but ended up going in a different direction, yet he was nothing short of a consummate professional and made me I dealt with Aaron on a prior purchase but ended up going in a different direction, yet he was nothing short of a consummate professional and made me second guess my decision. Today I closed on the lease of a new vehicle with him, and I am very glad I did. Knowledgeable, responsive, credible, and a pleasure to work with. As someone who has spent a career in sales, it is refreshing to engage with an individual who raises the bar in delivering an outstanding customer experience from start to finish. Both he and Tom Bowman are grounded, good people - and I am thrilled they earned my business. I have been a loyal Acura customer for many years, and based on my experience - Acura of Peoria sets a new standard for representing the brand. It is the farthest dealership in the valley from where I live, and it was well worth the trip. More
Non pressuring sales. I've never had such an anxiety free experience at a car dealership. Darren Maus was excellent. This is my first time purchasing a luxury vehicle and they really blew away my expectation experience at a car dealership. Darren Maus was excellent. This is my first time purchasing a luxury vehicle and they really blew away my expectations coming from VW. The car was delivered in pristine condition and fully setup / explained for me by Darren, I can definitely see myself staying with the brand for future purchases. More
Exactly what I hope for: competent welcome, clear explanation of the service, an accurate estimate of the cost and wait time, snacks, and WiFi to kill the time. explanation of the service, an accurate estimate of the cost and wait time, snacks, and WiFi to kill the time. More

I have always been happy with my service at Acura of Peoria. One of the best dealers I have ever been to. I bought a warrantee for my used car and my service was actually covered! Peoria. I trusted the wrong people I purchased a 2020 MDX from Acura of Peoria 11 days ago. So far it has been nothing but a nightmare and has cost me greatly. Before visiting this deal I purchased a 2020 MDX from Acura of Peoria 11 days ago. So far it has been nothing but a nightmare and has cost me greatly. Before visiting this dealership I was very clear on what I was trying to accomplish and the budget I desperately needed to stay within. They assured me that between all their end of year rebates, my veteran rebates, etc. that they could definitely help me. I was already pre-approved through USAA and through Acura Financial. Upon arrival everyone seemed super friendly and helpful. Test drove the MDX and was given a paper showing what my monthly payments would be if I purchased it. Was still a little higher than where I wanted to be, but enjoyed the vehicle and their customer service so I went for it. Moments before entering the finance office where you sign everything, I was told it had to be a 36 month lease instead of a purchase due to a variety of factors and that my payment would "only go up by $30 per month." It made sense to me, because I was rolling over negative equity from my trades and this "was the best way to bury that." Not a problem. I go into the finance office where I am then informed it has to be a 48 month lease, not a 36 month lease, but was affirmed that I can "trade it in within 2.5 years and still have the negative equity gone." A little reluctant now, but went against my better sense and agreed. Then I find out a few days later that the payment they quoted doesn't include tax, which is charged on leases and not on trades, so my payment has now increase another $85/month which I'm certainly not happy with. Fast forward to 6 days after the purchase. I drive to dealership to drop off the extra set of keys to my trades as promised. When I arrived, I was informed that they messed up somewhere on the numbers and that Acura Financial requires me to put $1,500 down. At this point I'm fairly pissed off. Fast forward to 10 days after purchase. Trades are still not paid off. I contact the dealership and they said they overnighted a check the day before and that "it can take a few days for the banks to process them." Due to this, I am now forced to make those car payments. Recap: I went from trading in two cars to reduce down to one for budget purposes due to an extreme family emergency. Was quoted $995/mth for a payment with NO MONEY DOWN. Still high, but less than my two cars combined and will help save some money. Went from that to a 36 month lease at $1,025/mth. Then within moments to 48 month lease at $1,025/mth. Then to find out a few days later that once tax is added to the lease the payments are $1,140/mth. Way more than my prior two vehicles combined. Now stuck in a lease, am informed I need to come up with $1,500 for a down payment. Money that I have already spent on my family emergency, not to mention it's the holidays. So I have to charge a credit card. Trade-in vehicles aren't paid off in 10 days as they're supposed to, so now I have to borrow money from a friend to pay $1,025 in car payments for the two vehicles that are no longer in my possession but are still in my name and on my credit. Moral of the story: DON'T TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!!! They will take advantageous of your situation. They'll tell you what you want to hear and then edge up the costs little by little until you're in a world of financial hurt and don't know what to do. Dear Acura of Peoria. Thanks for taking advantage of this disabled veteran who is going through a very difficult time. Thank you for putting me in a worse spot than I was 11 days ago. I hope you're happy and can sleep well at night knowing you made whatever money you were looking to make. More
