I had been trying to get out of my 02 Lexus IS300 but was a little upside down and every dealership I went to could not make a deal with me. I found a 06 MDX on Peoria Acura website that I had to have. I c a little upside down and every dealership I went to could not make a deal with me. I found a 06 MDX on Peoria Acura website that I had to have. I called and spoke with Brijen who told me come down and he would put his best guy on the job. I thought he was blowing a bunch of smoke trying to get me down there but the car was worth the gamble. When I pulled up to the dealership they had the MDX in front clean and ready for me to test drive. Ben was the sales man Brijen assigned to me. I thought he may have been the new guy at first but after talking with him he was very knowledgeable on the MDX and other competitors in its class. MDX was exactly what they said. Ben took great care of my wife and I during the long wait for finance. Honestly, that was my only complaint. I must have came on the busiest day of the year. There was 3 other people in front of me that needed to talk to finance and it took for ever. Ben made sure we were OK, I could tell he was getting nervous we might leave. The long wait was worth it. We got a great deal on the car, great trade in value, and are very pleased with the whole experience. See you in 5 years when it is time to trade in the MDX. More
We bought an Advanced package MDX at Acura of Peoria. It was a mistake. We were promised certain type of DVD players, in writing and verbally, multiple times, but they installed different type, smaller o was a mistake. We were promised certain type of DVD players, in writing and verbally, multiple times, but they installed different type, smaller ones after a week. They admitted that they would replace them ASAP, but never happened. We took our car to them few times, every time they came up with a reason not to do it. Either the color did not match, shipment did not arrive, etc. I called them and emailed them multiple times, gave them ample time and opportunity to fix the problem, but they did not respond. We thought the people at Acura of Peoria would be professional and dependable, but at the end we learnt our lesson the hard way. UPDATE: The dealer gave us a complete refund of the money and returned our original head-rests. Although this was not our preferred outcome, they were genuinely trying to solve the problem while not communicating well among themselves. More
First off, I haven’t purchased a vehicle in years and the First off, I haven’t purchased a vehicle in years and the thought of dealing with a car salesman is sometimes difficult. However, our sales person First off, I haven’t purchased a vehicle in years and the thought of dealing with a car salesman is sometimes difficult. However, our sales person Jorge Gomez at Acura of Peoria was EXCELLENT! Jorge was extraordinarily friendly and had a great personality which made the sale that much more rewarding. I would recommend this dealership/Jorge Gomez to my family and friends. Love the 2010 Acura RDX -On a final note to Jorge: Need more cookies! lol More
Was ready to lease a 2010 Acura MDX with the Technology and Entertainment Pkg. in white or burgundy with tan interior to accommodate our expanding family. Talked to Ben the internet sales consultant the da and Entertainment Pkg. in white or burgundy with tan interior to accommodate our expanding family. Talked to Ben the internet sales consultant the day before and he indicated the car was in stock and ready to be viewed and that he will be there. He set the price for $43,000. We called twice the day of the visit before leaving and Ben was not there but he was coming after 2:00pm. At 2:30 pm we were told and Ben had call in sick so the sale was given to Patrick Atriz - sales Mgr and George Gomez - sales person and the car was still there. I and my wife found a babysitter and drove 60 miles that afternoon only to find out dealer lied about vehicle being in stock. George said that they never had such a car in stock only a black one with similar pkgs. After waiting in the entrance standing up for almost one hour, George said that they can have the car within a few days and make a deal to PURSHASE the vehicle for $46K and they offer $10k for our 2007 Toyota RV4 with 54k miles as a PURCHSASE. We told him that with Ben we had discuss a lease option NOT Purchase. We never talk to Patrick Atriz but via Patrick he told that that Ben lied and did not was he was talking about. We went there because of the price Ben gave us and we were both very familiar with our trade-in value (checked via Edmunds, KBB and other dealers) and the lease process. They lied just to get us in there. WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP DUE TO A LACK OF HONESTY AND INTEGRITY! I guess the word PRINCIPALS doesn’t exist in their dictionary. More

First off, my sales person Paul was the absolute best sales guy I have ever worked with - period. The whole situation was pretty high pressure, but what car dealership isn't these days and in this econom sales guy I have ever worked with - period. The whole situation was pretty high pressure, but what car dealership isn't these days and in this economy? Paul was incredibly friendly, went above and beyond, just great! That being said, the finance department at this dealership is an absolute joke. The gentleman who finalized my papers was not only incredibly high pressure and pretty much made me pay for warranties and other things that I didn't want, but he even lied to me about the interest rate I received. He told me that if I purchased an additional accessory for my car and a VERY pricey additional warranty that he could get the finance company to make my interest rate a certain percentage. I signed the papers and took my new car home. After financing went through, I came back to sign the FINAL FINAL papers and noticed my interest rate was higher than what I signed for, as was my monthly payment. I was told that my interest rate/payment wouldn't be any higher than what I initially signed for, and that was obviously a lie. I highly recommend procuring your own financing if you decide to purchase from this dealership. As others have mentioned, the service department isn't great this location, either, and that's all I'll say about that. Overall, I got an excellent price on my vehicle and got exactly what I wanted in trade. I would recommend this dealership, but please beware of the finance department!!! More
This dealer replaced my A/C compressor at a cost of $1000 and when it was bad, wouldn't not honor the warranty. The worst part is the deception in telling me it wasn't bad when two other repair shops said t and when it was bad, wouldn't not honor the warranty. The worst part is the deception in telling me it wasn't bad when two other repair shops said the compressor was obviously bad. I eventually went to N. Scottsdale Acura owned by Penske and they fixed it. My wife wants to buy a new Acura, and we are getting quotes thru Edmunds, where the fleet manager is suppose to mail back a quote. Instead, a salesperson from this dealership calls us back with the "...how much you want to pay..." BS. I said do the best you can and they said that we could get a better price if we come in. Pleeze, this dealership, and all of the ones owned by Van Tuyl need a serious culture change. And, watch out, because Van Tuyl is buying up several dealerships in a location or a specific make in order to "corner the market" since, in my opinion, they can't deal on service and respect for the customer. I do not believe the positive ratings on this site for this dealer. Notice how they (the positive ratings) seem to be one paragraph long and sound alike. More
I dealt with bridegn over the internet and it was very surprising that a general manager got back to me personally to give me pricing. We worked everything out over the phone and email, paper work was re surprising that a general manager got back to me personally to give me pricing. We worked everything out over the phone and email, paper work was ready for me and financing part was ready to go as well. I will be back again at this dealership in few months to buy my wife's car. keep up the good work guys. More
I recently went to this dealership to work a deal on a 2010/2009 MDX. The second I walked in the door the first thing out of the salesman's mouth was " I can give you 6 grand off of this car". That obviou 2010/2009 MDX. The second I walked in the door the first thing out of the salesman's mouth was " I can give you 6 grand off of this car". That obviously made me more interested in the vehicle. We looked at the car a bit more and tried to work a deal. First of all they wouldn't tell me what they were going to sell me the vehicle for and I had to fight to get them to give me the price that they were going to give me for my 06 TL trade. They wanted to short me on the trade by $1800 relative to the true market dealership trade value and didn't give me the 6k off of the MDX. In the end we decided to look at a 2010 because Acura was making some significant interior, exterior, and chassis improvements. I called them back to try to work a deal and they said they would call me back. NO CALL BACK> I call them again and the salesman said he would have the sales manager call me back with a price/deal "first thing in the morning"....NO CALL BACK AGAIN> In the evening of the third day of no response I got upset and sent the sales man a text stating that they need to learn to call potential customers back and that I was going to buy my car from another dealership because they didn't call me back. In then end the salesman had the gaul to text me back " well, makes up for the 10 times I called you and you didn't bother to call me back..". Instead of apologizing for not doing what he told me he was going to do he exaggerates and insults me with his message. These guys have to realize that some of the people who buy the cars they sell are professionals and are in meetings or with clients ALL day long. I have to also say the pricing they offered wasnt competitve and they refused to show me what they were selling the MDX for and exactly what they were going to give me for my trade. They also tried the same BS move as some of the other customer reviews have stated where they take your keys to look at the trade and keep you imprisoned there so you cant leave. These guys IMO are not very good sales people and they are not very upfront when working the deal. Also I found them kind of unprofessional . I have also had 3 years of service experience with them that has been below average at best. Generally just poor attention to detail . They will be nice but the service quality isnt anything even worth comparing to lets say Lexus or even Infiniti ( previous G35). Things get left undone, unchecked, etc. They never tell you what the deal is with the tread life on the tires and the brake pad measurments. Bottom line......for service and sales absolutely take your business to another dealership and save the headaches and don't expose yourself to the unprofessional and shabby car sales people at Acura of Peoria More
