Acknowledgement of Great Sales, Financial & Service Staff I was very impressed with the staff's courtesy, professionalism, understanding and willingness to help any way they could to ensure that things worked I was very impressed with the staff's courtesy, professionalism, understanding and willingness to help any way they could to ensure that things worked out for the customer's benefit. The entire Acura of Peoria staff that worked with my wife and me on the purchase of our 2013 MDX were excellent people, always made sure our needs were met, and we were made as comfortable as possible through the entire experience. My wife and I would definitely purchase future vehicles from this dealership and would recommend that our family and friends do the same as I know they will be treated in an exemplary manner, given a good deal, and come away with a positive feeling about the overall experience. Reliable advisor Vince was very friendly, personable, had appropriate customer relations skills, kneeling down to talk with me and explain my car evaluation and repair Vince was very friendly, personable, had appropriate customer relations skills, kneeling down to talk with me and explain my car evaluation and repair needs. He then also took the time to answer my questions, helping me prioritize which repairs to invest in currently (an old Acura my husband and I are trying to get by driving for another couple years). He also kept me updated on repairs thruout the week (parts had to be ordered so it took a while). I however did not experience a very warm greeting by Mike King; nothing horrific, but in the world of customer service, there should be a friendly greeting, I shouldn't be made to feel like I'm an animal being brought in for a line up. Mike did not have the patience or great customer skills that Vince did. I was in the dealership for hours waiting for my initial car diagnostics and had the opportunity to observe, compare & contrast the two advisors as they came to the customer lounge and Mike just didn't seem like he cared, he almost seemed annoyed, as if he was just saying, here's your key back, you're done. I know this is what they do day in and day out, but he really needs to put on his acting face and pretend to care more. Overall, I feel Acura dealerships are quite reliable for their service though I can't say the same glowing comments on a Scottsdale service advisor and that is why I have changed dealerships. It's a sigh of relief to get good customer service from beginning to end... it's really not that hard, it's just not. More
Used Acura purchase experiance Sara, I purchased the used 2006 mdx from your dealership with the expectation that it would have been check out to the extent that the vehicle is in Sara, I purchased the used 2006 mdx from your dealership with the expectation that it would have been check out to the extent that the vehicle is in good working order. The vehicle went straight to the border and then back to a storage yard until I picked it up on the 21st.. The battery appeared a bit low and so I figured just because it had been sitting. I drove the car to nevada with a few stops in between. After a few times of starting I finally had to get a jump. In nevada I had the battery replaced at les schwab and was told it was cracked and had been leaking underneath for quite sometime and had a dead cell in it. We continued on and stopped at a drive thru in reno where my daughter hit the switch to open the rear driverside window and it just fell into the door, now duct taped shut. The driver door speaker cover falls off everytime you shut the door. the overhead front light is broken and does not come on and the rear heater does not work at all. I understand this is a used car, but from a acura dealer as a acura product I would think is a bit rediculous. I have not taken the car in yet, but intend to when I get home to acura of Portland. Any assistance would be appreciated. Jim After sending this email, I recieved no response. I understand it was a used car, but felt confident that if I purchase a used Acura from a Acura dealer they wouldn't sell it without checking it out first. My local dealer in portland stated to me the battery being cracked and the heater and light not being fixed prior to selling it would not happen at there dealership, they also said that not getting floor mats is kinda cheap on the dealers part. When I had first noticed the overhead light not working and had spoken with Sara on the phone about it and that I was under the understanding they go through there shop prior to sell, she agreed they do, but if there not certified then used cars are not necessarily repaired prior to sale. I guess I should of known better when they were only willing to negotiate a few hundred dollars if I had removed my prior complaint. Oh and that 100.00 gas card doesn't do me much good in oregon where it doesn't work outside of Arizona! More

I have never experienced such great customer service when purchasing a vehicle. My husband and I were very happy with the service we received and the quickness of getting what we were looking for. I've worked with many dealerships through my years. This dealership is busy, so be prepared to stay on top of what you want. However, if you want honest service and transparency, the best price, and added value this is your dealership in Phoenix metro. Alex understood my need for getting a car quickly and came into the dealership on his day off to put it all together. When I first stopped in, I test drove the car I purchased within 5 minutes of arriving. I've driven Acura's for years, so I just needed to make sure the car met my expectations. I spoke with one or two people at each Acura dealership in the valley but no one can stand up to the experience at Acura of Peoria. These folks are like friends and will work through any situation like it was, well - just their responsibility. While I would highly recommend working with Alex; I didn't have a bad experience with anyone I spoke with. Just know they control the Acura market in the metro area - so everyone is super busy. However, I didn't come upon an unkind or unpleasant person throughout my transaction. I explained that I don't spend more than 30 minutes in a dealership and won't play the games that many dealerships like to play. Alex heard every word and expedited everything. I would highly recommend Acura of Peoria and would bypass the others if you know what you want. Then, you get the surprises at the end; they will wash/vacuum your car for free anytime while you own it and the first oil change service is on them. This is clearly a dealership that is respectful and considerate. Ownership and management have to be admired. Plus, this is the only dealership that didn't have negative statement about their competitors. They only speak of their merits. I'd be very surprised if you didn't have the same experience! More
Stopped by to look at an MDX we saw as were driving by. Was immediately approached by a younger looking sales person. I was very upfront and told him I was just starting to look and wasn't buying right away. But he said he had some to show us so we let him walk us around for a few. Their cars seemed a little overpriced so I asked him if he had anything better, he said "let me go see if anyone else near around has one." I told him it wasn't necessary and thanks for his help. My kid needed to use the restroom before I left so I walked inside. When I did, he stopped me and showed me a printout of a car at another dealership across the valley (right down the street from my home). He said "if you want to buy this one I can get it over here by tonight." I told him again I wasn't looking to buy that day and that the dealer was right next to my house so I could stop by there another day and thanks again for his help (was just trying to politely get away from the guy). He gave me an annoyed look and said "dude seriously? I find the car for you and you're going to buy it somewhere else? That's kinda not cool." Keep in mind- I had just met the guy 3 minutes prior and told him not to look for me. I tried to explain again I was only in the area for the afternoon and wasn't ready to buy (again just trying to get away from him) and he said 'dude help me out here.. its the end of the month, i need to make some sales. And I found one for you and you're not interested? Come on." At this point I just walked away to get my family and get out. He tried to have his manager talk to me on the way out and he was friendly enough but at this point I was so turned off by the attitude of the first guy I wasn't interested. Maybe the guy was new and just didn't know what he was doing. Or maybe he was having a bad day. Either way, I've never been treated like that in a dealership.. and if he is the norm at this dealer then I wouldn't every give them my business. More
We had done some homework before we came. The price on line worked for us. We came in went for a test drive and the rest seemed easy.
