Now that a few days have passed and the dust has settled, I feel 100% happy about choosing the Acura MDX as my new vehicle. I am the original owner of a 1999 acura tl with almost 300,000 miles on it. I drive approximately 85 miles a day to and from work so I visit Acura of Orange Park about every other month to have my car ser 300,000 miles on it. I drive approximately 85 miles a day to and from work so I visit Acura of Orange Park about every other month to have my car serviced. The guys in the service department are always friendly and knowledgeable about what my car needs. They are honost about what my car needs done to it and keep me abreast of upcoming items. They check in with me when they find anything I was not expecting to be needed for that service trip and have always been able to advise if a fix can wait or not (given the economy); and, how long the fix can wait, if it can, before getting more costly. Recently, I bought the tenth or so set of tires for my car, they were less than a month old and I ended up getting a really bad cut/slice in the rear driver side tire. It was a Saturday morning, always busy for them, and I was able to bring the car to them, have the tire replaced and a loaner car while she (the car) was worked on that afternoon. I have had my transimission replaced (I love the sports shift but the feeling is not mutual), my heads replaced from a blown head gasket around 250,000 miles and they have always been very fair with me for these costly service items. My first transmission was replaced around 80,000 miles (under warranty due to an extension Acura made for certain models), that one didn't last near as long and I had some problems within 36,000 miles, so I got another one at no cost. That one lasted longer than the others put together, but I wore it out as well. The one in my car now, AOP split the cost with me knowing my dedicated service history, the issue with the older transmissions and since the corporate office would not assist me. As a woman, I have never felt taken advantage of by them. This is only the second new car I have ever purchased and given my experience with Acura of Orange Park, compared to the other larger, local dealer here in Jax I purchased from before, I will return to AOP to buy my third new car. More

I went to Acura of Orange Park just to test drive a Acura MDX because I was thinking of buying one at another acura dealership, but first wanted to drive one before I made the drive. I went on Fri. night and was greeted by JR and Gino. I promised I would come back on Sat., and I held up on my promise. So, Sat. @ noon I was at the dealership, I test drove an '07 and didn't like it. I then test drove an '08 and loved it. Well, that is all these two needed was for me to say I liked the car. They tried to make deal after deal with me...I wasn't agreeing to anything because I could get the car cheaper through a family member at another dealership! They finally said they would come down on the price to what I wanted and would install DVD headrest. That made it close to irresistible...so after a long talk with my husband, we decided we would buy it. This is where the customer service when down hill! I waited and waited for Tim (finance) to take me to his office to sign paperwork, that I later found out wasn't even approved for the amount they were trying to get. He told me he would call me Mon. "about lunch time", this is the famous line at this place. I ended up calling him at 6pm, no new info. I really didn't know what was going on, I couldn't put my tag on the car, but I had bought it and drove off with it. I looked at my paper work and realized they charged me $1000 over the listed (online) price, WHAT?!?! That was also the price they said they were bringing down even more cause I could get it cheaper! So, I called Mark Lacovara...He was NOT helpful at all and pretty much told me that I was wrong and I was going to keep the car because he will not sacrifice his salesmens families for a returned car...and I was still in my 3 days! Well, I then was in touch with the GM Dan Like, very nice and helpful!! Took the price down with DVD headrest installed, got my deal through and when he said he was going to call back...HE DID! I can see why he is in the position he is. Then, on to the service department...I had a HUGE scratch in my car that they agreed to fix and then the DVD install. And all though it took awhile, it was totally worth the wait because you would never know it was ever scratched! Michael in the service dept kept me informed and in a loaner car that fit my needs for the whole week and half and was willing to make me happy no matter what it took. And Wes, the service manager, was AWESOME. He also took very good care of me! Made sure I was satisfied and left no questions unanswered...and HONEST!! That is all I wanted from this dealership and I didn't get that until Wes and Dan took over! If I could rate Dan and the service department seperately I would give them 5's all the way!!!! Hope this helps someone to not get pushed around by the salesmen or finance, cause they will if they think they can!! More

When we went to Acura of Orange Park, we were immediately met in the parking lot by Gigi. She took the time to get to know us and get to know exactly what we were looking for before she started showing us c met in the parking lot by Gigi. She maximized our time in the show room by getting us in the car, going on the test drive, and working out the details to get the car we wanted. We wanted a specific color and model, so it took some magic work by Gigi and Greg to get us the exact car we were looking for. After we purchased the car, Gigi followed-up with us to make sure everything was going fine and she helped us schedule an appointment to get our accessories installed. This is our first time working with Acura and we are very happy!!! More

My wife and I purchased a new 2010 MDX w/ Tech and Ent packages. Overall we had an excellent experience. Gigi was able to work with new car sales manager to meet our 2nd best price by $500. She was always friendly, knowledgeable, and enjoyable to work with. I have bought quite a few cars, but this is the first one we have ever bought without setting foot on the dealership lot. Gigi professionally and accurately took care of all of the paper work and application process over the phone and via e-mail. We were very pleased that Acura of Orange Park was able to get us the exact vehicle we wanted (combination of packages and colors). Gigi saved us alot of time and hastle by delivering our car to our home in Tallahassee! Gigi has also been very good at following up to make sure everything is going well with our new car. More

I was VERY Happy when I drove off in my Acura! I have since recommended to several of my friends and co-workers to see james when buying a car< new or used! All of my friends drove off happy as well. James continues to help me with any issues I have no matter how trivial! I think that James represents your company VERY well! And that is what makes the difference when buying a car!!! KNOWING that your gonna get taken car of! THANX JAMES!!! My Acura had a power steering issue and the a part was recalled, Upon arrival I was greeted by Wes Bracewell< he put my family in a BRAND new Acura !!! We were told that the car would be repaaired asap, while working on that hose the scv dept found some other issues and Wes let me know right away! The Acura company got involved and because the problem was related to the recall they replcaed all that was wrong. While they fixed the car for a few days my foamily enjoyed the Brand New Acura>>> we took pictures with the car and sent them to our family and friends!!! :) My wife and kids still talk about that car! I know that it is procedure to put people in a loaner while a repair is done, but to have the loaner be a Brand new car like that!!!! Really a great touch! We will one day buy a "NEW" Acura because of that experience! The most impressive part of he whole week was that Wes called me every day to let me know what was going on!!!! GREAT JOB WES!!! Thats SERVICE!! these days people dont know what "service" is. I was extremely satisfied with Acura of Orange park and the Staff!!! More
