It started out well enough with the internet sales rep (Mr. Brian King ) who did a good job and knows the product, but my pick up was unsatisfactory. I scheduled it well in advance because it is a long drive (I came all the way from Lakeland, GA) and I needed to be home for Halloween candy hand out. It took the detailers four hours after I arrived to have it ready. The registration paperwork was not done properly so they had to overnight an entire new package that I had to blindly sign and return, I requested a completed copy once Acura of Orange Park populated everything. That never happened. I requested a more legible copy of the CPO checklist, that never happened. I requested retired USAF tags, that never happened. Then a week after I bought the car the battery died, I sent a copy of the test and the receipt for a new battery I had to purchase out of pocket and never heard back from them. Those are facts and not opinion and I notified Mr. Jim Twigg Acura of Orange Park CSI Coordinator of all the above details. He wrote me back saying he'd investigate and I never heard back from him or anyone else in their organization. Then I got a seatbelt recall notification and had all kinds of issues getting that resolved. I think Acura is a fine automobile, however I'd NEVER go back to this dealer and encourage any reader to try another one to avoid my disappointing experience. More

Put a deposit on car. sold it to someone else for more $$$ I really wanted to give this dealership a negative star. Bought a new MDX a couple of years ago and had an ok experience from this dealership. Our salesperson was great. Contacted same salesperson at same dealership. Worked deal for trade-in and agreed on number for the car we were wanting to purchase. Got financed through my own bank. Even gave deposit to salesperson. At 6:30 pm (was supposed to pick up car next morning at 10:30 -I live a couple hours away from dealership) was contacted by salesperson to say the dealer sold the car we already put a deposit on to a different person because they made more money with the other deal. LOAN FINANCE WAS A MESS PROMISED ONE RATE AND CHANGED THE RATE AFTER PURCHASING THE VEHICLE. EXPLANED ONE KIND OF SERVICE PLAN AND SOLD ANOTHER ONE THAT DONOT COVER ANYTHING AT ALL. WORST CUSTOMER CARE AND RESPONSE. CAR SERVICE IS SOMETIMES GOOD AND SOMETIMES xxxx, NO NOTIFICATION OF SERVICE COMPLETION AND CLOSED WHEN RETURNED BACK. NONE OF THE EXPERIENCE IS PLEASANT TO SHARE. I called to find out where my invoice was so I can make the payment only to find out the paperwork WASNT turned in..when I called to inquire I was told I had to sign another contract because they went electronic. So I made the salesmen bring it to me, Paperwork was wrong again and that I had to come back in extremely inconvenient seeing that this is a LEASE. I got to the dealership only to sign another hard copy no electronic contract???. Also one of the great simple features of the car....memory seating hasn’t worked since I got the car, it mysteriously works for everyone at the dealership except for me 4th time and the last... neither key works. While they had my car for 1day trying to fix the seat issue they managed to put 90 miles on my car....WHY WERE THEY DRIVING MY CAR AROUND!!!! Do not do business with these people! More
WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER! SCAM ARTISTS! I am a loyal Acura client. I am on my third lease and have ALWAYS had outstanding service (in my hometown). I moved to Jacksonville a year ago and dec I am a loyal Acura client. I am on my third lease and have ALWAYS had outstanding service (in my hometown). I moved to Jacksonville a year ago and decided that it was time to trade in my 2015 ILX for a 2017 TLX (8 months early). They had the exact car that I wanted so we worked the numbers. I was given a structured deal sheet with the numbers that we had agreed on. After completing half of the paperwork, I was told that the line for finance was long and to come back in the morning as it was getting late. I came back the very next morning when they opened and they sat me down and changed the numbers on me. They increased my payment by $80/mo saying that they had initially given me too much for my lease trade-in. This is where it gets worse. To attempt to bring me back down to a somewhat agreeable payment, they suggested I go with only 10,000 miles/yr instead of 12k and promised that I would get 17,000 rollover miles from the lease I was turning in. I know that in order to get my roll over miles from my current lease, I have to be within 6 months of the lease ending. In order for that to be done and for them to take my lease and pay it off, through the Acura website there is a form called the "Acura Loyalty Advantage Certificate". It is filled out in type. NOT handwritten. If they tell you that they will give you rollover miles and pay your lease off, and you get a handwritten sheet, you are being scammed. You will sign all of your legal documents for your new car and a month later receive a bill stating that you owe the remainder of the lease. Anything handwritten is null and void and because there is no proof (they will say you could have written it ), you will be stuck with no rollover mileage and paying the lease off on a car you no longer have. There is no recourse in that situation. Please be warned and be careful if you are trading in a lease to lease a newer vehicle with them (even if its an Acura that you're trading). Call Acura customer care to find out the terms of your lease trade in. Acura cars are the best but Acura of Orange Park does bad business. They care more about getting that unit out on the last day of the month than they do maintaining a good rapport with their customers. More

Had to bring my vehicle back for service because the service performed 3 weeks ago was not completed. I had a scheduled appointment 3 weeks ago due to the emmissions light coming on. After waiting for an hour the service guy tells me they couldn't find anything wrong. He said the light will still be on but once I tightened the gas cap it may go off (HELLO! Did you guys tighten the cap?) or when I refuel to make sure and use 92 octane gas or higher. If none of these work, it is most likely a light bulb that triggers the 'check emmission system" light. When I questioned why didn't they check this light he said they did not have time but I can return for service. What? I did have a scheduled appointment. He reassurred me that nothing was wrong with the emmissions. I went on. Upon reviewing the service invoice I noticed the notes recommending new tires. I have a 5 year warranty on the life of those tires. No one explained the need for new tires. This really upset me. So...here I sit. Determined not to leave until I know the emmissions light is off and I have new tires on my vehicle. Will update. More

During the vehicle familiarization from a new sales staff member, we received a bit of wrong information about the vehicle's operation, and we left the dealership without the information being corrected. By the time we got home we were upset and having buyers remorse about our new RDX. The real test of customer service begins after the sale. And we put Orange Park Acura to the test when we emailed them about how the bad information had such a negative impact on our new car buying experience. The next day, we received a phone call and the matter was resolved promptly and to our satisfaction. I want to commend the way the Internet Sales Manager corrected the problem and handled our expectations. We look forward to doing future business with Orange Park Acura. Ron & Martha More

I am absolutely shocked to read bad reviews on this dealership. They value their customers and treat them well. I normally get a loaner so that the service imposition is minimal. They will even pickup and drop off your car and that has been the case as long as I have been dealing with them. I happen to know Jack Hanania, but I have never had to even mention his name to receive superior customer service. More
