purchase a leased rdx I recently purchased a 2013 acura rdx from a friend whose lease was up. I was fortunate to have Justin Schlam handling the financial transactions for I recently purchased a 2013 acura rdx from a friend whose lease was up. I was fortunate to have Justin Schlam handling the financial transactions for me. It was a little complicated because the car was registered in NJ and I had to have it registered in NY. I also had to get a car loan. Justin was terrific in handling all aspects, he kept me in the loop constantly, got me quotes on varying terms for the loan. His pleasant personality, knowledge and concern made a confusing process a pleasure and saved me the headache of running around to the DMV in NY. He went over all the paperwork and made sure I understood everything. He is a great asset to Acura. I also had to have the car inspected and have nothing but good things to say about their service department. I dealt with Brian and others whose names I forgot, sorry, but my experience was great. They had the car inspected and washed while I waited and everyone was professional and pleasant. I give them an A. Thanks More
2016 RDX ADVANCE This was the 3rd Acura I have purchased from Acura of Ocean. My first 2 were Certified Pre-Owned. However this time I purchased a Brand New 2016 RDX This was the 3rd Acura I have purchased from Acura of Ocean. My first 2 were Certified Pre-Owned. However this time I purchased a Brand New 2016 RDX. I always return to Acura of Ocean because the staff is top notch. Jay Pickelny and Stephen Douglas were extremely helpful and knowledgeable with all aspects of the car and both were a pleasure to deal with. I never feel pressured when dealing with anybody at this dealership. Also thank you to Justin in Finance for all your help and knowledge. More

Check Your Loaner Car for a Valid Insurance Card! We needed routine preventative maintenance performed on our 2005 Acura TL. We scheduled an appointment and were given a loaner car while the car was i We needed routine preventative maintenance performed on our 2005 Acura TL. We scheduled an appointment and were given a loaner car while the car was in for service. We then received a call stating the technician performed a Multi Point inspection and recommends additional service. Maria, our Service Advisor was very nice and explained the recommendations in detail. We approved the recommendations. After we drove the loaner car home and reviewed the documents and found out that the insurance card in the loaner car was expired. We notified Acura of Ocean and were told to bring the loaner car back to the dealership. We brought the loaner car back and given another loaner car. The other loaner car also had an expired insurance card. We spoke to the service manager, Steve Cotter about this issue and he was rude and unprofessional. We also spoke to Marc Rediker, Manager of the dealership about this issue and he stated all loaner cars on the dealership lot have an expired insurance card. For some reason, we did not get valid insurance cards in time but, all our loaner cars are insured. The next day, we got a call stating your car is ready to be picked up. When we went to pick up the vehicle all recommended work as per the Multi Point inspection sheet was not performed. From this experience, I highly recommended customers to check your loaner car documents before you drive off the dealership lot. Otherwise be prepared for a ticket with a mandatory court date and possibly having your car impounded as per the law in the State of New Jersey. More

Went over to the RDX in the showroom where I was then approached by what I thought was a salesman. After a few minutes of discussing the vehicle, he informed me that he was the sales manager(forgot his name) and would send a salesman over. At least five or more minutes passed, and no one approached me. Needless to say I walked out. Is this any way to run a business? More

Leaves a voicemail saying that if you don't call we won't do anything - refusing to respect our preference to communicate via email. Out of all the nj/ny Acura dealers, this one will the award of driving customers away. More
