I was pleased to do business with Acura and felt comfortable working with Kirk Lemon. There were many new things I needed to learn about in this vehicle and I received the answers I needed. Yes, the coffee bar was an extra bonus which I chose to partake of while waiting for the RAV4 I purchased from the business! I would highly recommend anyone to check out Acura of Johnston when they are looking for a quality used vehicle. More

Was looking for a smaller car and had an appointment at a different dealership two hours away so we figured we would go and test drive the same make and model at our local Acura before making that two hour d different dealership two hours away so we figured we would go and test drive the same make and model at our local Acura before making that two hour drive for possibly nothing. We had an appointment with Susie. Let me just say she was the friendliest sales associate we have ever worked with. We had our 3 year old with us and Susie welcomed her as well. Set her up with some crayons and paper to color and some crackers which we learned our daughter loved them so we ended up buying some for home. Once we got settled in My husband and I took turns on our test drive. Susie walked me around the car. Talked about all the outside features. Got inside the car and talked about all the inside features. She was very knowledgeable with everything. As we were on my test drive she had asked me if this was the one and I had said I love the car but not the color. I wanted a white one. So we got back and she had found a new white one in the make model but was a manual with red interior. I can drive a manual but was leery about red interior. Well after seeing it it wasn’t all that bad. I had told Susie on our test drive that we had an appointment at a different dealership on Saturday and explained that our credit was a bit challenged hence why we didnt try to buy from Acura. We got back from our test drive and she asked if I liked the car (the new one) I said yes. My husband and I talked about it and decided to try for financing. After a bit waiting for something to come back from banks there were no approvals which we knew going to probably happen. So we had left knowing that we had an approval at the other dealership 2 hours away and in the color I wanted. Later that evening into the next day I thought more about it. Susie had brought up excellent points on why I should buy the silver one I initially test drove it was a 2023 with 4k miles and was used by Acura’s service department for customers. So to me it was certified and taken care of with 5k less miles than the one two hours away. So we decided to try financing again on this one initially we were told no approvals were coming in and we just didnt quite understand since we had an approval on the same car with NO certified title and more miles. So awhile goes by and we get a phone call from a finance manager telling us we were approved for the silver one AND the APR was even better than the other approval. I was thrilled. So we came back on Friday and the process was smooth as butter. Susie was extremely busy with her previous appointment before us but she still made it a point to check in on us and make sure we were okay. Paperwork was a smooth process as well. They get you with all those add ons but honestly some of them are so good to have and doesnt raise the payment by very much and its worth the piece of mind. I appreciate everyone being so friendly and not judgemental and going up to bat for us with our credit not being the best. I appreciate that Susie called the following day. She apologized for not giving us more attention. That to me makes a difference and makes me feel that we were not just another sale. More

My wife and I decided it was time to purchase a luxury sedan. I went on-line to research recommended vehicles with solid performance and maintenance reviews and decided to pursue a late model, low mileage sedan. I then started my search with our local Acura dealers but was unable to find the car I wanted with the mileage and pricing I was seeking. I then expanded my search and found the model, pricing, and mileage I wanted at Acura of Johnston. When I contacted the dealership I was greeted by Kirk Lemon. I had hoped to travel to the Des Moines area to test drive the vehicle but that didn't transpire so, based on Kirk's solid answers to my questions about the vehicle, his first-hand knowledge of the previous owner, and the Car-Fax report, I decided to purchase the vehicle, a 2020 Acura TLX, sight unseen. Thanks to Kirk's superior service and the prompt and excellent communication provided by both he and his Finance Manager, Carrie Johnson, I felt confident in my purchase and the Acura of Johnston dealership. I would heartily recommend Kirk and his team to anyone seeking a new or used vehicle. More

Susie is trustworthy, hard working, and really listens to her customers and tries to make every part of the car buying experience smooth, easy and personal. Honestly, Susie could run an entire dealership on her own (there would be so many snacks and puppies!), but she always makes sure she has the best group of people to support her. The first car wasn't what we were looking for, but she was able to find another vehicle that fit our needs and was in our price range. I was impressed with how friendly and knowledgeable Susie was. Never felt pressured to spend more than we could afford. She made us feel as welcome buying a modestly priced used car as she would someone buying a high-end car and it was very much appreciated. Had no issues when I purchased my MDX, but the service dept hasn't been the greatest. For the past few years, I leave messages and no one calls me back and I'm only trying to schedule an appt or ask a qu dept hasn't been the greatest.
