We found the car of our dreams and had been approved for financing but because the financing was from an outside source the dealership decided not to close the deal. During our experience with the dealershi financing but because the financing was from an outside source the dealership decided not to close the deal. During our experience with the dealership the staff dragged their feet especially their finance consultant Anneliese Maue. It would take 3 or 4 of my calls to get one return call. Sometimes I wouldn't hear from them for days. Then I asked to speak to the general manager but instead they gave me the sales manager Maurice Braver. If I new how bad this dealership was I would have never went there in the first place. It was a huge waste of our time and when I called acura's corporate office they just simply said they have no baring on our dealerships financial decisions. I would never recommend this dealership, not even to my worst enemy!!! More

It was an excellent service I received from them, I had purchase a car before but total experience here is by far the best, as soon as you walk to their door staff welcomes you with a smile and greetings that makes you feel comfortable. Everyone at the dealership was wonderful. Easiest car purchase i’ve ever had and a great price!!! My product specialist Tom Aveni is exceptional! He will help you all the way and listen to your concerns. To sum it up I am beyond please with the whole experience! For me, buying a new vehicle is usually a draining and daunting ordeal. In my past car buying experiences, I've actually been subjected to rather shady, greedy and unscrupulously salesmen from seemingly daunting ordeal. In fact, my last experience purchasing a vehicle was in 2009 and it was utterly dreadful. So it came as a complete surprise when I stumbled upon Tom Aveni at Acura of Huntington. After a full day and a half of driving around Long Island, Queens and Westchester looking for a "fair deal", I called Acura of Huntington in last resort. The receptionist assigned my inquiry on a SUV over to Tom and within 5 minutes I had confirmation they had the vehicle I was seeking at the price I was looking for. Amazing! I arrived at the dealership soon after and within 15 minutes of working with Tom, settled on a fair price on a new RDX. Tom was fair, pleasant and straight forward. I sincerely appreciated his approach. He was everything you would want in a salesman. He made the experience easy, relaxed and stress free. I picked up my new RDX yesterday and left not only happy with my new vehicle but also impressed by Acura of Huntington and pleased with my considerate and courteous sales rep, Tom! If you are in the market for a new Acura anything and desire a no nonsense pleasant experience, my advice... go to Acura of Huntington and ask for Tom Aveni! More
I have been a loyal Acura customer for over 15 years but this is the first time I experienced the sales process at Acura of Huntington. Greg Giordano, the sales person I interacted with, dedicated uninterrupted time to explain the sales and pick up process. Everything went as planned. I believe that dollar for dollar Acura is the best car but if you want a great car buying experience see Greg at Acura of Huntington. You won't be disappointed. More
I came to this dealer because I saw an ad online for an Acura MDX 2009. It was listed for a great price so I came to make a deal. The sales person was great (Juan). I just dont think the sales manager understood the psychology of the sale. Both sides are suppose to walk away thinking that they won. They basically just gave me $100 off the price. I really liked this car so I still took it. The next day they called me to convince me to get the extended warranty ($1400). I declined. The reason I declined is because I did not get anything off the asking price. If they gave me $500 off the asking price I would have gotten the warranty and put more money in their pocket. I dont think the sales manager really cared. At the end I got the car. Another reason for my 4 rating is because if I did not call ahead of time saying I am coming to pick the car it would not have been ready since somebody messed up and they had me for picking it up the day after. Thank god I called. I got the car that day still but im sure they did a rush job cleaning it in time. I had a problem with the key but they fixed it up in no time and were very appreciative of my business. Thank you! More
I had no idea this dealership existed. It's a brand new dealership in Long Island, a little over a yr old. The dealership itself is beautiful, state of the art, spacious, friendly and very welcoming. I had requested an MDX brochure to be mailed to my home and since Acura of Huntington was the closest dealership, they were tasked to mail the brochure and to give me a call. Before Tom Aveni called me, I had went to 7 Acura dealerships in NY and NJ to get pricing and to check if the 2014 MDX AWD Tech color/combo I wanted was in stock. None of the 7 dealerships had the color/combo I wanted in stock and I would have to wait until the end of the month for delivery. Anyway, I negotiated with these 7 dealerships for two full weeks and it came down to the final two. 2 of these dealerships (Brooklyn and Manhattan) only gave me a small discount off MSRP, and Paragon didn't even give me any discount and I felt like they were forcing me to buy the car at MSRP. These three dealerships made it sound like they were doing me a favor by selling me the car. The other 4 were located in NJ, LI and VA. They were competing against each other to sell me the car. They all matched or best each other and this went on for a week until VA gave me the lowest price and Valley Stream matched. I left a deposit on Monday with VA and then Tom Aveni called me on Tuesday to tell me he mailed out the brochure and introduce himself. I told him I am ready to purchase and to please give me their best price. I never even told Tom what the other dealerships had offered and when Tom called me back, his first quote beat everyone. He even matched my best trade in offer. I didn't even bother to negotiate and asked if they had the color/combo I wanted in stock, and he told me next week. I went to the dealership two days later to have them appraise my vehicle and to leave a deposit. When I got to the dealership late at night, Tom greeted me at the door and was just so kind and delightful to speak with. He didn't seem like he had already worked 10 hours that day (I showed up an hour before close) and was very patient with me. Then he gave me some great news, he showed me the car arrived earlier that day, a week earlier than anticipated and I can pick up the car after they finish paperwork and detailing the car. I met with Anneliese for my financing needs two days later, she was very professional and explained to me all the accessories and options I could purchase. Two days later, I picked up my car and I am extremely happy with my purchase and so very glad I went to Acura of Huntington. The experience I had there with Tom Aveni and the rest of the staff made my car purchase that much more special. Their service is impeccable and I give them my highest recommendation. I will return very soon for a used car and will not look elsewhere. Thank you Acura of Huntington and thank you Tom, Annaliese and Maurice. More
Our sales representative, Ford Trojanowski, was extremely knowledgeable about the Toyota we purchased even though he sold Acuras. We was professional and helpful. He made us feel as though we were the only knowledgeable about the Toyota we purchased even though he sold Acuras. We was professional and helpful. He made us feel as though we were the only customer he had as he took all his time to explain the history of the vehicle to us prior to the purchase. We were not in agreement on the price; however, Ford followed up with us and made this deal happen. When we arrived to pick up the Toyota, he promptly took us for a ride, put gas in the vehicle and reviewed the options of the vehicle in detail with us. He did an outstanding job, and I would highly recommend him. The entire dealership was an absolute pleasure to work with. More
It's amazing to me how different an experience I had from one dealer to the next. After spending a good part of my day looking at luxury cars, I didn't know what I wanted to do. I found that I would li from one dealer to the next. After spending a good part of my day looking at luxury cars, I didn't know what I wanted to do. I found that I would like a car, but didn't like the person helping me, or the person helping me was ok, but I wasn't crazy about the car. That all changed when I walked into Acura of Huntington and met Maurice Braver. I never walked into a dealership before and got greeted by the sales manager. The way I was treated in the dealership was incredible and I knew right away I was in a classy place, (even before I realized how nice and new the dealership is!!!) For me, truly a first class experience all around from start to finish. The dealership has a courteous and professional sales staff; and now that I know how nice the Acuras are, and that they're within my budget, I will be back when my (crappy) Infiniti lease is up.
