I have just purchased my second vehicle this year from Acura of Huntington and working with Maurice Braver and Tom Aveni is an enjoyable experience in achieving the best deal around the New York area. I am extremely impressed with this Acura dealership in Huntington, NY. The dealership and the service area looks magnificent. But what makes a dealership different from the rest is the people who work there. Mr. Ford Trojanowski is the ultimate professional. He went above and beyond the call of duty in helping my wife and I make the right decision. He actually came on his day off to close the purchase deal and explain everything about the Acura we purchased. But most of all his sincerity, humor and kindness made our experience of purchasing our Acura very delightful. Ford is a great asset to this dealership and I am hoping our future experiences with the other departments (i.e. service department) will be the same. I would recommend this dealership to anyone and especially to work with Ford. More
I only decided to give Acura of Huntington a try because of the rave reviews on this site. Now I am back to basically confirm what everybody else has been saying. My wife and I were greeted by every person we came in contact with and got the feeling they were all willing to help at a moment's notice. The GM Joe introduced us to Tom Aveni who facilitated our deal. Tom took us on a test drive and we never got the feeling that we were rushed and he answered any and all questions that we had. The experience felt like it was a friend showing off his new car to us and letting us drive it. I had been researching the prices online and knew the target price I wanted to pay for the 2014 MDX we wanted. I was pleasantly surprised when they were able to offer me the car for lower than I expected to pay. That being said, we agreed on a price and we were off to see what rates we could get to finance the car. It took about 5 minutes to fill out an application. After a short wait (where we decided to indulge on the free coffee and snacks), we were introduced to Anneliese who showed us some accessories for the car and approved us for the loan instantly. We decided to purchase a few accessories and also went with the loan offer they gave us. The financing process was extremely easy. I should also make note that our credit scores are in the 750+ range so that may have played a role in the instant approval and this may not be the case for everyone. They were able to have the car ready for me in two days, but we couldn't make it back until the following weekend. So we scheduled a pickup time with Tom over the course of the week. When we arrived to pickup the car, it was ready to go with all of the accessories and keys in place. We took some time to inspect the car and then finished up the paperwork. Then Tom took some more of his time to show us all the features in the new car we own. Overall, we were very happy with the experience and would definitely recommend AOH to others. I don't think we could have had a better experience anywhere else. Their dealership is physically amazing and their staff as well. I just hope they can keep up these high standards when I'm back in 5 years and trading in for a newer one. More
Tom was exceptionally patient as we looked to buy our car. My wife and I went to several different Acura dealerships and we came back to work with Tom because of his honest and laid back approach. It was well worth the wait when Maurice took some time out to introduce himself to my wife and I although he was still attending other customers. If you are looking for an Acura I don't think you really need to be sold on the car. Because of the quality of the car and its reputation the car kind of sells itself. Now you are looking for a dealer who will give you a fair price on your trade if you have one and of course a good price on the new vehicle. Well Acura of Huntington did just that for me. The gave me double what another dealer offered me and a good price on my new(used) Acura MDX. I dealt with two salesman, first Jim and then Juan and both were good guys-NOT pushy. They didn't try to sell me anything I didn't want and handled the transaction professionally. More
Tom Aveni was the most pleasant and honest car salesperson I have ever dealt with. Although he was rather new to his job I would never have known that until the deal was sealed and I picked up my salesperson I have ever dealt with. He was both professional and knowledgeable. I have been back to the dealership for service and Tom has come over to say hello and ask how I was liking the car.
