I bought my 2006 RSX from another dealer but have had it serviced from the beginning at Acura of Glendale. As a new car, I preferred to have a dealer service it, all the while knowing the reputation for "e serviced from the beginning at Acura of Glendale. As a new car, I preferred to have a dealer service it, all the while knowing the reputation for "excessive" charging and/or unnecessary costs that follow "dealers". My husband usually took the car in for servicing. Over these 5-1/2 years, we have been fine with the relationship. For the 80K service, I took the car in and specifically asked that the clutch be checked, noting that my husband remarks that I ride the clutch. Upon completion of the service, I was told that "Yes, the clutch is slipping" and it would cost $1,750 to replace it. In horror, I asked how much time we still had on the clutch. Manny could give me no answer. I asked to speak to the mechanic, initials "JM", who had assessed this, hoping for a remaining life guestimate and tips to refine my clutch work. (I have bragged that I can shift without a clutch knowing that is for emergencies.) Manny stammered that the mechanic was not available. I know to get a second opinion for such things and my brother-in-law is a lifelong Porsche-Rolls Royce-Mercedes Benz mechanic. He tested it himself and said there was nothing wrong with the clutch. So I blew this off as a dealer taking advantage of the "stupid female customer". Two weeks later, my husband had to leave for an IMPORTANT JOB and the car battery was dead, dead, dead! Caveat emperor, I should have asked them to check my battery, tires, wipers, and everything else for the 80K maintenance -- or at least looked at what was included in that was supposedly 80K maintenance. But I really thought such a fundamental check would have been included. I have other cars which do just that. No more Acura of Glendale for me. More

I just purchased a certified 2008 TL with very low mileage. I worked with Dale in sales and Moe on the financial side. The experience could not have been better. The atmosphere was totally non-pushy, although the negotiations were (as always) intense. There were no hidden anythings. When I first went in, I was unsure what I whether I was going new or used, and Dale took me immediately to the used to compare to the new, which I found quite refreshing. If the treatment I received is the standard there, I recommend this dealership highly. More

I then got quotes from a couple of other dealers via the Internet and asked the Glendale people if they could meet the price. They were straight, honest and helpful. I have recommended them to almost everyone I know. The husband/wife team who owns the dealership are hands on and care about their staff and their customers. It shows. Bravo to them for turning a cynic into a believer. And by the way, I LOVE my car, too. More
I just bought a TL and I admit, I'm pleased with Acura of Glendale. I had been to three other dealers and the "salespersons" were very push and unfriendly. I had called at Acura of Glendale and when I arrived there a different salesperson greeted me. They made me feel at home while they went to find my salesperson I had called. Both salespeople were knowledgable about the TL and I got a great price!!!!!!!!!! I totally recommend them!!! More

Well aside from that other saleman are not that helpful specially if your looking for another agent that you have spoke over the phone before going there. More

She never pressured me into any decision and offered all the information that I needed. She was straight forward and I never felt that she was trying to sell me something I did not want. I have already recommended her and Nelson to several of my friends and would definitely purchase a car from her again. Overall an excellent experience. More

What I realized later is that their price was honest; whereas the other dealers were doing the old bait and switch technique. I also received the best deal on my trade. Nelson really worked with my budget to make everything work out. A very good experience where I squeezed their margins, yet they still treated me very well. I will be back in 3 years when my lease is up. More
